We go thru out normal Saturday routine :- Sending Janelle to her ballet lesson grocery shopping at Sheng Siong lunch and nap for adults and kids We need a good rest after the Thursday nite orderal, even my cousin said so. She didnt need the relaxation pill to help her to sleep these two nites. We all snuggled into our bed and pillows and enter into dreamland at 2pm. And we are all fresh and ready for shopping at Robinson sale at EXPO. We told ourselves not to overspent but we end up spending $100++ at the sale. Terrible!!! But I manage to get a Paul&Joe lipstick for $18. CHEAP!

The kids have being making noise in the mid of the nite, especially Julian. He doesnt really sleep thru and he is nearly 2. Look like all the caregivers do not learn our lesson at all. It seem to me that Julian is even harder to train. Motherhood is forever challenging. I wake up dreamy in the morning, luckily Law is on leave today cos PIL need to make their trip to Msia again. Yes, this time I did not compromise and take leave. I leave it to Law to take up the responsiblity. My cousin Wen did not have enough sleep as well. I have to apologise for the noise nite and asked Law to send her to my Yi Ma salon as my sister is still confine indoor due to her chix pox. I hope we all sleep better tonite.

Hot Hot Hot..... It is so warm recently and Law has being talking to me to keep my hair short and he doesnt spare Janelle as well. I do need a haircut at this moment and decided to go back to my favourite stylist. I dun usually have any design in mind cos I dun know do it really suit me. So I just told my hairstylist I wanted a short, manageable and nice style for a working mother like me. An hour later, I saw a new ME. I LOVE it, it is short, easy to manage and I look so IN (of course must have an IN outfit). My msia cousin commented that the style suit me very well. (i'm in the cloud) Really have no regret to wait for Freddie to be back from his oversea seminar. Guess wat I wanna do next! Tattoo and "planting" a strip of blue hair.

Another weekends without daddy. MIL has brot Janelle out for shopping again and I was with Julian alone. It was a good cloudy weather and I decided to drop by katong swimming pool for a quick dip with Julian. Quick dip! Yes, I really mean dipsssss........... cos it was quite impossible for me to swim with Julian alone. As it was a last min thing and I could find the arm float so I brot Julian to the pool with out any float. DARING?? Hahaha... infact, it was quite fun without the float. We tried out the water at the kids pool, just wanna get Julian used to the water and the temperature. Once he was ok, we started splashing water on each other. I even brot Julian to the medium pool and he has fun kicking the water while I'm holding on to him. Yes very tiring to my arms and I did a few submerging on Julian and he is taking it well. Bravo!!!! Janelle's Kindy organised a parent meeting session with the parents from N2 to K2. There was a mis-comm and I was early for my session. All the teachers that teach Janelle this year gave very good feedback about Janelle. She is a fast learner, very responsive and participated actively in class. Math teacher told me she has no problem with Janelle and she told me Jan was able to understand some mathematic concept quicker than the other kids in her class. There was no doubt that she was not learning cos she always responsed to the questions. I have highlighted to Jan's English teacher that she has improved alot in her english. She is able to construct better sentenses and it was particular better this year. Her English told me that she has constantly conduct sessions to allow the kids to talk abt themselves, book review infront of the class. She even told me that Janelle did talk about us and the family during the sharing sessions. I think the teacher has done a great great work ...

Happy Vesak Day! I love Vesak Day, althot i didnt do much praying but I always feel peace on this particular festival. As usual we drop by "Hai Yin" temple to pray. This is the 1st time Julian get to go thru the ceremony. Janelle was a bit unwillingly, dun know is it that she not use to the ceremony. I must enrol her into the junior buddhism class so she get to learn more abt the religion. We head straight home cos the Sun was burning thru the ground. The kids went for their nap after their shower and Law need to do some errand for MIL. I said i have no problem with 2 kids. I still managed to do some chores while they are sleeping. I decided not to cook since there is nothing to get from market on Monday. I suggest to have Jap food at Leisure Park and we proceed to Downtown East for R&R. Downtown East has changed so much! Another weekend of looking after the kids alone but not really alone. Infact I hope to take care of both kids myself. MIL brot Janelle back scaring that I will have hard time handling with two. I really appreciate her thots but she just dun understand or wanting to admit that I can handle two alone. May be I didnt appear capable of handling two when I was at her place. I like to watch both kids play and under my supervision they can play peaceful with each other. Most dispute can be resolved without screaming and shouting. Sometime I dun really see how Janelle can be a big bully to Julian. In the eyes of the grandparents, Julian is always the one who got bully by Janelle. I am pretty sick of their accusation , they complained to me almost every time I saw them or visited their place after work. This weekend is a terrible week for me. A usual busy Sunday as Law need to be on duty. He left Julian watching Barney DVD while Janelle and I were still sleeping. I only realised Julian was alone in the living room when he came running into the room and woke me up with his own baby language. I was quite shocked cos Julian could behave himself and watch Barney alone. Going thru the usual routine on weekend, I got Janelle to wake up and made french toast for breakfast. I was surprised that Janelle actually enjoyed the french toast. Why I said so? She didnt like it the other time. Anyway, it is always a happy thing that kids eat their food. I have decided to settle the celebration of Mother's Day with my mum at my place on Saturday cos Law was on duty this weekend and I dun want to bring the kids all the way to my sister place at Punggol. Furthermore she wasnt very keen to have it held at her place but she promised to come over early to help in the preparation. We also have steamboat for celebration cos it is fuss free and usually I dun really need to dirty my kitchen. However, we always over catered and end up with alots of ingredients. We analysis over it and still we have no idea why we would still end up with alot of uncooked food. We always love family gathering, cos it always brings the extended family closer. It is specially meaningful when my sister and I have married off. I told my sister that it was such a regret that she stayed in Punggol else we could have weekend meals together. Once again I need to work on Sat and was a long due work that I needed to completed which was left over by my colleague. In the mid way of work, one of my key equipment encountered problem. One of the module was faulty and causing the equipment to go over-heated. Technologies is so intelligent now that it would allow the equipment to power up due to over-heating. Everyone starts to curse and swear! My work had to carry out successfully cos it involved big group of end-users. We try all the means and managed to get the module replaced and we managed to carry the subsequent jobs as schedule. The work is a success! I sms Law as this date also mark a special event for us. Our Wedding Anniversary - and it was the 5 th this years. WOW... 5 yrs have just gone by. He waited for me to knocked off from my work and we dressed the kids up and drove all the way to Orchard.
