The moment Janelle stepped into the house her explosion of excitement gave me a jump but was a jump of joy. Janelle: Mummy, I tell you something. Today I forget to bring my pencil box and I have no pencil and color pencil to use. Mum: Oh, yes I should have expected that cos I think u forgotten your case. Janelle: but you know what! I got 5 stars for my paper and no other has 5 stars like me. Mum: Really? How come? You mean u are the only person in the class that has 5 stars? Janelle: Yah. I got all my work right so I got my 5 stars. Mum: How about your friends? How do you get 5 stars? Janelle: Everything must be right and I don't have a single mistakes at all. Some of my friends have one or two mistakes so they cant get the 5 stars. Mum: Really? Mummy is so proud of you. Hugging my precious ger really tight and I can see that she is very proud of herself. I have never got sunburn before. NEVER EVER but it is no longer never anymore. My 1st sunburn this life was after bringing Jul ian for a swim at Tampines Swimming pool at 11am. Crazy? Yes, many may think I am crazy but I wasn't. Janelle was having her lesson and without other support (Law is one work duty this weekend) I have to jagar Julian myself and yet bringing Janelle for her lesson and I dun think my boy will be able to sit there for 1hr just to watch Jie jie having a cool splash in the pool. Luckily the kids were olright, looked like the swimming suit was still a better attired for the kids and not to forget the sunblock lotion. Finally I have to admit how important sunblock lotion was. Why? Cos I try to be a heroine and refused to put on sunblock when my precious daughter asked me abt it. She asked if I need it, gara me told her it was ok. I need a break. Yes a holiday and a getaway break. Afterall, year end is a more relaxing period of time with school holiday and xmas coming. What a good excuse but I really wanna go somewhere for a short break. Well, we have some plan now.... Hope we manage to get a good price for the hotel.... bless us.

I am quite sick of the current place and layout and I feel we all need a change to freshen up. Bring some life to the house once again. Unfortunately we cant afford to move out of the place. Well, at least not at this moment, this flat come with a purpose. How to give the house a make over? How about give it a new coat of colour but will we have the time to repaint the house again? I really wanted a new look but not to the extend of changing any furniture. (althot I wanna get rid of the dining chair very much). Let see if we have time to at least repaint the kids room. Why? I spotted paint peeling at one side of the wall and it was the side that is facing the sun. I can literally peel the paint out from it. However, we just added new kids furniture in the room. Have to discuss and plan well for this project. Another items that I have prepared was the wall-decal for the house. Another term with the school has passed and come termly presentation of the kids to the parents. This time, more kids in the class and it turned pretty lively to see the kids doing the presentation together. I reminded Jasmine to come early with her camera to capture the kids presentation. The principal commented that the students standard we pretty good and advise the teachers to bring it up to another level. I am really pleased to know that and I hope Janelle can continuing excel in it. Look like Joel really enjoyed the lessons very much and mixed very well with the peers. Jas said he wanted to continue the lesson with Janelle, checking if we are continuing next year.

Arranged a trial with the owner. She is such a nice lady and she managed to get someone to look into the trial for us. Althot it is just a 15min affair. I am very happy with the result and we are going for it. A big baby will be coming the way if everything turns out well.

Shopping time... we are not die hard fan of shopping malls but shopping can help to release stress. Lilian suggested a shopping strip to Bukit Indah another part of JB with a new Jusco that opened last year. I asked Law and he had not objection to explore another shopping mall. We checked the condition of Tuas checkpoint and there was queues forming at 10am but we decided to go ahead with the plan. When we reached Tuas, the queue was no longer there, so I smsed Lilian abt the road condition. However to our horror, the jam was at malaysia side. The jam was so bad that we actually waited nearly 2hrs to clear the custom. In fact, there was no turning back then. We reached Bukit Indah Jusco at 2pm, it was a big place althot not as big as Tebrua Jusco. Not all the shops have opened but still good for shopping. I have being trying different brands of facial products but just couldnt find anything that last good long enough for me. My sister was recommending Dr Wu which is highly advertised by the Taiwanese actress " Da S". I bot one facial wash to try, and I ended up with outbreak. I have no choice but to revert back to my elianto facial wash again. I related my problem to Eelin my collick and she recommended me to try some organic products instead. Watson has being promoted some organic products for sometime but there is no advertisement abt them so I dun really dare to try. However, since this outbreak I thot may be I should change my facial products to something more natural. So I started with Sukin facial wash, i like the smell and it give my face a layer of moisture after washing. We were invited to Marcus and Sandy's son, Jonathon full month celebration at their place. We sent Julian to MIL place in the morning and brot Janelle for her class. Have to wait till she finished her lesson before we head down for the celebration. MIL and Julian have reached. It was a small celebration that only families and relatives were invited. Baby Jonathon has grown chubbier, all thanks to the confinement lady. She was a niece of Law's aunty from Msia. Very capable lady and very diligent in her work. I will strongly recommend her if anyone need a confinement lady. The kids met up and played together while the adults will gathering ard to chit chat. Today I equipped myself with my long range 75-300mm lens to take pictures during Janelle swimming lesson. It is pretty hard not to get the photos blur but I tried cos i wanna keep a momento for Janelle. While snapping at one corner I decided to move nearer to her training area to get a better close up pictures. While doing so I was stopped by the life guard, I was told no photography in the pool. Is it true? As much as I know I didnt see any signboard telling me no camera or shooting. SO????? Not as if there are pretty ladies in bikinis or hunks ard. Was it because I have a long lens, so i looked like a lady pervert or private investigator? I am only shooting my GIRL. Give me a break pls!

Mum planned to return to Sitiawan in Dec, I was thinking if i should follow her to dropby hometown just for weekends and return and started work on Tuesday. Either alone or I bring 1 kid with me. BIL knew abt it and apparently he was very enthusiastic to drive back. Look like the two guys (BIL and Law) were discussing abt it and I only knew recently. My reaction - I never said I wanna go back or even to drive back in Dec. I have a Project to rush, and it is going to be a busy period in Nov and Dec. Can I really enjoyed my holiday and leave the work for my collick to cover me? No - I really cant, seem to cruel and irresponsible and I dun want to tire myself on a short trip with the kids anymore. 8 hours drive is no joke, and the wet and hot weather in Msia. After the high tea at Peony Jade, Law dropped us at Xian's place at Punggol cos there will another round of celebration in the evening. This time was to celebration Xian's Bday as her bday fall on 4th Oct. Mary suggested Sakuru Restaurant at Punggol Marina but I told her I couldnt eat anymore. We reached Punggol Marina ard 6pm, it was quite a nice and quiet hideout. Too bad I put my camera at my sister place as she claim there was nothing nice to take. (she dun know wat is nice for photography) We end up dinner at this Hot Stone outdoor BBQ steamboat. While happily cooking our food, the sky turned "Pink", wind blowing and we could feel droplets of rain patting on us. No time to keep the food, we rushed to the shelter. 生日第三步曲 My 3rd Birthday celebration was with my BDS gang. We have being doing the bday celebrations for more than 10 yrs. This years we had high tea at Peony Jade at Keppel Club to celebrate Viven and my bday as both of our bday fall in Oct and only 10 days apart. The food was good but the service and serving was slow and lousy. The waiter n waitress simply cant be bother and our dishes were out very very slow. Jaslyn brot Reena, too bad i dun have the chance to carry her but I managed to take some pictures. Unfortunately, Sheng couldnt make it to the high tea, I missed his daughter Lele too. I asked Janelle to take some pictures for uncles and aunties during the high tea. Poor uncles and aunty have to sqeeze incase they fall out of the screen. hahhaa..

Today is Janelle 1st Swimming lesson. Jasmine told me Joel will not be joining us as he was still coughing. She gave me some description of the swimming coach, I went to ask the lifeguard when I reached the pool. I cannot believe my eyes when the lifeguard pointed to the man that was supposed to be Janelle swimming coach. He is short, dark and with a tummy. Oh, I supposed a swimming coach should be quite tough tho. Anyway, I introduced myself and Coach Darryl passed Janelle a swimming cap with the school name printed on it. He gave me a card to write down my particulars and went ahead to start the lesson. I found a bench that was further away from the spot where Janelle learning her swim, didnt want my presence to distract her. I peaked a few times and could see that she really enjoyed the lesson very much. She did the "superman" and the bubble blowing for the 1st lesson and when I checked with her if she enjoyed it. 生日第二步曲 Both Law and I took leave on my bday to enjoy ourselves. Law chose Cafebiz at Trader Hotel to have lunch with me. Not a big spread but the food is quite nice, unfortunately no oyster and sashimi but I have a good portion of smoked salmon. We did a little shopping around Tanglin Mall and Law suggested we head down to ION. But my shopping cell is not active today, so I told Law I dun feel like going to anywhere crowded or shopping center that make me lost. Since he wanted to get a walkie talkie at Sim Lin Sq, I suggested we head there. He can do his gadget shopping while I check out the KOSE facial center for overdue facial treatment. I told him it took 1.5hrs so he can take his time to shop. Sandy, my KOSE beautician was shocked to see me. Luckily she is able to take in another customer and I also signed up a facial package with her again.
