1. I am going to try making Brazilian bread for Julian's Bday. Hoping my kitchen device will be able to help me to speed up the cooking process this time. I am yet to try out by using the kueh bulu machine to make the brazilian bread. This is the project I am going to try out by this week. Well after trying out the machine on Saturday, it is a no go. The oven still did a better job. Infact, I am using the traditional metal baking tin of the kueh bulu I got from Phoot hust 2 years back. It was a heavy tin but the Brazilian bread raise well and beautifully. 2. Party goodies bags and goodies bag for classmates and friends. When does it starts that July has become the busiest month of the year. Beside looking forward for good new in July it is also a month of spending. July is a bday month of Julian n Law n also our anniversary. I consider Julian n Law bday as a major event so we always neglect our wedding anniversary. This year we decided to hold a party for Julian just like Janelle had hers when she was 6th. There is no compliant so far as we are being fair. Our guest list are the kids and friends Julian interact most with and not my friend's kids. I also wanted a quiet, manageable party so I chose an arty theme and places we did not attended before. This is the couple that I really detest and till now I do not understand why they always treat us this way. I do not understand why Law hold this friendship so dearly and all the time when he felt rejected and upset I wanted to tell him to let go cos his friend did not even bother. Now, to give Law faces I decided to include their children into Julian's guest list. I smsed the couple, wife and husband but none of them even bother to reply. My last straw is to send the children the invitation card, I didnt expect them to turn up but at least to have a good habit to response if the kids could attend so I can carry out my planning. 2 years ago, when I 1st taking up the challenge to make my 1st dumpling. It was not perfect. My MIL is a paper 军师，why I said that? She cannot cook well n she cant make dumplings but she will advise me what to put to make it good. She is a 美食家, she loves food. So I listen with my heart. Then my mum who will experience n make whatever she can when we are young. I watched her making dumplings but I could really help so I watched with hearts. Now when I make my dumplings, my two mothers ate with their hearts n gave me the best advise they could to help me to improve. Once again, I engraved in my heart. On the 1st year, I did without my mum help, I Chiong through the making process, read to learn how to wrap a dimpling. Feasting again. When I am stress I want to cook n cook. I find fulfillment when I cook. My initiation helps my MIL to solve one problem this year. Where to celebrate her mum bday? With the coming of another newborn, maid less for my BIL. My MIL doesn't like the idea to being a toddler out for dinner thot we said to help looking after the toddler. I wanted to invite PIL over for a meal so I suggested to have a simple meal at my place n I will cook crab for grandma. My MIL was relief n delighted as little toddler can roam ard the hse freely while we enjoy our meal. I did peng chai again, add on my version of chilli crab, prawn, lala.

I have being making dumplings for the past 3 years. This years the same I made the dumplings again and I only know how to make one kind of dumplings - the meat dunplings. My father in law couldnt take bean and Law's mother, uncle and grandma do not really like the bean that I added into my dumplings. Therefore, I made the chestnut dumplings specially for them and only 30 pieces, no more no less. This year, I made 110 dumplings by using 3.2kg of glutinous rice, 2kg of pork belly, 1 kg of bean, 0.5kg of green bean, 0.5 kg of mushroom, 300g of dried chestnut, 0.5kg of dried shrimps. The more I do, the more skillful I am however, my dumplings are still not as beautiful yet. If my dear friends got those ugly wrapped dumplings that is probably done by me. Those very decent looking ones are done by my dearest mother. My mum of course could take as many as she liked, without her I will still be wrapping the dumplings at 11pm. We are wondering where to go as we decided not to go back to the water theme park anymore. What have we not see at Ipoh? Let's try Kellie Castle. Pple used to claim the castle is hunted but it actually has a love story behind it. We went back to Fu Shan for dim sum and all agreed that Ming court dim sum taste better. We set off early morning for dim sum at PJ. Unfortunately it was not as good as the dim sum Xiao Yee Zha brot us to last time. It took us about 2 hours drive to reach Ipoh n we manage to check into one room as the rest are not ready. We decided to change n head down to the water theme park. The area was not as huge as sunway n the central pool did not have any wave effect but we love the idea of the theme park right infront of the limestone mountain. We tried some of the water ride. The kids are pretty gaming. I wasn't n we left the theme park famine for food., We head down to Selena food center for dinner before we head down for night market. I ordered fried kway tiao which was delicious. Julian loved his Wah tan hor. Law found his pork noodles n Janelle enjoyed her wanton noodles very much. The moment we enter KL we went over to Xiao Yee house to pass her the steam iron she asked us to get for her. When we reached she brot us to the nearby bak kut teh restaurant for lunch. It was a hot day to have bak kut teh actually but we like the food. We then soak ourselves in cooling dessert next door. I had sweet corn water chestnut dessert. Absolutely refreshing on a hot day. After visiting Xiao Yee we drove about an hour to reach our 1st rest point. One Avenue Hotel which is a budget hotel at Damansara. The area is so busy that we couldn't get a decent car park lot and have to park along the road. Pray my car is still there the next morning. After washing up, we head down to 1 Utama. The shopping mall is huge n only 3 hrs is not possible for us to complete the mall. I got myself a lollipop mould n magazine. Magazines are cheaper in Malaysia so we always take the chance to get here.

Here we set off at 7am to meet BIL at punggol to set off together. We crossed the woodland checkpoint around 8 plus. Heading off to YONG PENG for breakfast. We are suppose to have Yong peng fish all but BIL cannot rbr which stall Xiao jiu brot him so we just popped in any restaurant for breakie. I din realised none of them have tasted the fu Zhou noodle before. The chef did not fail us as the noodles is really delicious that brightened up everyone day a little. The breakfast is only rm39.50.
