We all craving for Penang laksa and I told Law we are cooking on weekends. I picked myself up as early as 6:30am to rush down to my.market for the fish. I want to book the fish so not to fight with the crowd later. I told the fish monger i will be back to collect my fish later. I took a train with my shopping trolley to Tekka market. I like to go there as I can get most of the Penang laksa ingredients. Of course and a kg of fresh hum to share with my mum, sister and BIL. There was much work to be done, as the laksa required me to debone the fish, mashed it to cook the soup. The soup are made of the fish soup from cooking the fish before I debone it, the Assam slices, Assam juice, belachan, laksa leave, mint leave, chilli, sugar and salt. The end product looks like this. I pack a box for Mary who couldn't make it cos Meryl was sick and Viven who is my long time laksa supporter will always get a box of laksa from me. Thanks her for helping me to send the laksa to Mary too. ...
