There are so many hu ha on my recess area.  Overlaying, HDB, the gate and finally we settled everything.  We took the bold move to do up the gate for the recess area. We save the money from overlaying tiles to DIY overlaying with wooden tiles we got from Lazada. There are still gaps to cover up and I am looking around for ideas. We may need to change the shoes rack to something more slim and compact to make the recess look more spacious. My plan is to have a big plant at one corner but Janelle warned me that the poor plant may not be able to get much sunlight. 😢 My recess area, even after washing, it is still dirty. Hubby fixing the wooden tiles. 24 pieces and cost me $88 after all the voucher and coins I changed from my account. It was dirty and we have to clean a few times. Putting the racks back.

My old headset for work is only half working. One side has no sound so I'm thinking to change it. Law as the IT gadget lover brought me to Challenger to chose as he wanted to refund one item so I only need to top up a bit for my new set.  I have a few considerations when come to headset. I wanted one with a mouth piece that like the phone operator but I wanted it able to keep in compact format because I will need to put in my slim laptop bag to n fro office when needed and I didnt want the bulky headpiece to be pressed and spoilt.  After looking through a few model Law suggested I go for the sennheiser which has a good reputation of sound quality. I was thinking if I should get a $94 headset for work. Not sure is it a technical glitch at the shop. I only paid $70plus in total, as I only top up $28 when Law fund item cost $49.  I'm truly happy with the new headset as it sit comfortably on my ear and for mic quality I will have to check with my colle...

 I went back to the old market again to get more pork because I used up my 1kg of minced pork to make minced pork sauce to stand by for next week.  While ordering my minced pork, I asked the stall owner which part will be best for pork chop. He asked if I wanted to use pork loin or wanna try the more fatter pork which is the 五花肉. I love this part of the pork for my minced pork. I will always as for this part and get the owner to double minced for me. This time I decided to get the same part to make my pork chop. Surprise surprise, using this part of meat create a more tender pork chop, the kids and Law said it was good. Worth the price paid!  

Hubby requested for prawn noodles, so I went back to Old Airport Rd market to get my ingredients. The usual pork stall is having a queue so I went to the next favourite stall to get my pork.  It is very hard to get the soup with full of prawn flavour so I have to add the primedeli instant prawn soup sauce to get the flavour I need. That is on top of all the porj bone, prawn heads/shells I added in to pressure cooked my soup. 

 Since the 2nd wave of COVID infection that is going into community, govt has action up and HBL started on Wednesday. My office has tighten the number of people going back office and we are told to stay home to work as much as possible.  That also mean we have to start to stock some food as the kids will eat at different timing and it will be easier for me to cook so the older kids are able to eat at their own schedule. Luckily we stocked up enough toilet rolls during Sheng Siong promotion and we have enough to go round now.  Making meat sauce for quick meal

I have kick start my fasting again, wondering if I have done it wrongly. Instead of fasting start after lunch I started to fast for breakfast instead. 168 meaning I fast for 16hrs and eat for 8 hours.  What is 211? Is the way we eat. Have 2 portions of vegetables, 1 portion of meat and 1 portion of Carbo. It is also the sequence of having it.  Have 2 portions of veg then 1 portion of protein and lastly eat your Carbo.  I will fast for 5 days and rest for weekends.  Cheers for myself to go go go. . 

Thanks Daddy Law for bringing me and the kids out for dinner. Kitchen is closed on Saturday for mummy to rest and enjoy others cooking for me.  Mother is the most under rated and powerful woman on earth yet we are also the most vulnerable and most loved. Every woman should be given the opportunity to become a mother and experience the atomic energy and sacrifice this role can give.  I'm fortunate to be a woman.
