There was a following check up on Tuesday and we decided to switch her from Parkway East to local polyclinic for the blood test. From a relative advise, we went over to Parkway East hospital to request for Janelle's blood test report to bring over to polyclinic for follow up. Janelle still attended her school as we think she was still ok and have the energy to do so but requested to the teacher to excuse her from CCA on Tuesday as she has a medication appointment that afternoon. Mother in law brought her Geylang East Polyclinic, she text me with this photos after her blood test. The 2nd experience from the blood test was not as traumatizing as the 1st one. She told me she the pain was minimised and the drawing of the blood was so much faster than she thought. I asked her if the nurse using a syringe and she said no. Could the same way of blood extraction as adult that was why it was so much faster and less painful. The result was good, her blood count increase to the normal...

After a few hiccups from the delivery, I got my Nestle goodies bag finally. It was a nice Longchamp style tote bag. Not much of items in the bag but I appreciate the bag very much. Can be use for baby diaper bag or my hospital bag now. 

After 7 days of hovering fever we decided to bring Janelle for blood test. She looked perfectly good, not sickly but the fever just would not come down. The fever started a day after she attended National Education with the school. She indeed enjoyed the trip very much and I was told KFC lunch was provided. She was perfectly alright on Sunday but started Monday the fever came in and it was wandering around 38 - 39 degree. Most of the time the fever will go off after the medication, but it will came back an hour or 2 later. Our 1st visit to the nearest GP told us she may have respiratory infection but if her fever did not subside on Friday then a blood test had to be carried out. Mother in law brought her to see a TCM sinseh and was told she was "over heated" internally. She was taking the chinese medication well, the fever did go off for a while but came back again on Sunday. I told Law it was time to do further test. I love weekends because there are always event happening to me and people around me. This week too. What I cook, where did we go, who do we meet, what the kids do, etc. This week something to write about is about me! Haha. I broke my knife! So what so special about breaking a knife. Who does? No, who does? I dun think there are anyone who can broke the knife into this half this way. Infact, I love my cutting knife and it has being with me since I owned my place. I never though to change it although it had chirp at the tip of the blade. Since pregnancy, I realised I started to get a bit clumsy and butter finger. I tended to slip items from my hand and dropped it very often and I have hard time trying to bend down to pick up the items. This was what happened to the knife as well. I dropped my knife and it end up in two, fortunately my floor tile was still in one piece. This was the 2nd accidents for these 2 weeks. A gift from Law's China business partner. Was told it was expansive tea, there are certification at the back of it. Now we have a issue of storing it. How to store this tea?

I love sweet potatoes and especially the Japanese type. Imagine spending $10 for two packs consist of 7 pieces of sweet potatoes during Cold Storage promotion. Sound crazy.

I have craving for chocolate cake and instead of buying cake which we always cannot finish or way way expansive I suggested to my kids if they can bake me a cake. I will prepare the ingredients and they will read the recipe and carry out the baking.  No whisking, only measure and mixing so I am sure Janelle and Julian should be able to do it. I only want a small cake so I split into 2 small round tin. Julian had the 1st try after the bake and he gave a thumb up. I make the chocolate ganache with a little twist of passion fruit in the chocolate. It was really a good recipe. I think I can use this for birthday cake or Xmas dessert next time.  Thank the kids for making this yummy cake for me. 

Do you still remember you skip your breakfast during school days? I do! I always thought that was cool because I kept myself slim and yes I was slim but I was not intelligent enough.  Nobody should skip breakfast no matter how old one is. You grow old and stupid faster or not learning well.  Therefore it is so important for kids to have their 1st meal. If you can make it balance for the 1st meal. Do it! Else pack them will carbohydrate for the start of the day.  I prepared this simple 猪肠粉 topping with sweet white radish for the kids before they head for their morning tuition lesson. It was also the supper last night. Luckily I got it prepared knowing Janelle may asked if there was anything to eat after her National Education trip.  You see I am a mummy!!! 

This is only the illusion. Nothing of this is going to happen. Just want to see how studious looking my prince is. 

Who say Hari Raya is only for one race? We plan our day out too but stick to 1 location because I have movement restriction.  After our lunch at Marche the kids spend sometime planning oldies games organized by Scantek.  Actually our aim was to watch Ant-Man, it was really a funny movie. Simple humors that even the kids understand. The whole cinema was laughing and so are the kids. It was a relaxing show to end the day.

How many blood extraction do you have in your life so far. Did you count? I cannot say I am a brave woman as I never dare to look at the tube of blood they collecting from me. I seem to get poke more then my previous pregnancy. Gynae felt I needed glucose test because baby grew too much over 3 weeks so I was back at TMC after fasting for 9 hours to go for the test. It will took half day for the test. 1st extraction after the fast then I was given a bottle of sweet orange syrup to drink and I have to collect my urine sample 1 hr later plus blood test again then again for the 3 round. Look like I can only leave TMC around noon.  Must go and pray after this.  Took my 2nd urine sample and my blood test. Ouch! I was asked how I felt? I do feel different after the orange syrup. I started to feel stone after 30 min of waiting. For the final round I was told not to eat and drink and collect my urine sample an hour later. I wonder will I have anymore urine to collect an hour later....

Thanks hubby for picking up Great Eastern SG50 baby goodies bag from post office. Law asked was this the goodies bag that the insurance agent asking us during the baby fair. I just recalled that I have signed up for it months back, although I brushed off the agent at the fair telling them I have signed up. I didnt really remember if I signed up the right one, I just wanted them to stop pestering me for information.  See the market opportunity that SG50 is giving everyone, so much goodies was given out. This is the 1st Jubilee Pack I received and there were more to come. 

My July Birthday big boy is hinting me way before the month is here. He doesn't suggest another home celebration as I need more rest than to be busy in the kitchen cooking for others. I agreed with him on my energy level this time. Although I know Julian would like to spend the birthday and receiving many presents on his birthday. However, this year we will to do something different. We will have a dine out dinner for both the boys and Law already know what he wanted to have on that day. In order not to disappoint the two boys, I have already placed restaurant reservation for 12 July. After asking colleague on the restaurant review I think I made the right choice (hopefully). We were all waiting for July baby fair, it was supposed to be a big fair for parents who are preparation for the new coming or topping up baby accessories. I would expect myself to be out of such mad crowd but the revisit gave us an insight of how willingly  parents now to spend on the kids.  9 years ago, I would not have spend $600 for a pram but I never thought Law is willing to spend such amount for baby again.  As for me, I think I am still very careful on the spending since the coming is going to be our last one. I bought what is essential to me, happy that I got many hand me down baby clothes that I could save a bit. Yes, I still got some new clothes but really minimum comparing last time and we are having another boy, how many fanciful clothes can you get locally. (there are many oversea - hee hee) However this time I am investing in a sterilizer, a better baby mattress, latex pillow, breastpump etc. lesser item but better quality, making sure these...

Baby S is nearly 29 week. I could feel tummy tightness at certain time of the day, even the kids also noticed when they touched my tummy. We went through the normal routine check with gynae and baby S is growing very well this time. double of this last weight 3 weeks ago. Must be the durian I ate over the weeks but gynae wanted me to go for glucose test just to ensure my sugar level was not too high. His previous weight is 865g, that was before our durian feast with my mum and sister. This time round he is weigh 1.52kg. Isnt that shocking!!! I guessed my gynae just want to play safe for both of us but Law said we always have big baby so it was quite normal. Now, another test and meaning another payout. Haiyah... I have to control my durian intake now. During my visit, I also mentioned to Dr Beh if I am still able to give birth natural. He told me that is quite possible but he will need to make assessment when I am near to the EDD but he also mentioned the risk that will involve...

Finally we went for our Wedding anniversary celebration we always missed each year most likely because July is just a month full of events. We had a great fine dining at crystal jade. We love the food although each dish comes with only a small portion. We truly enjoy a quiet and yummy food.  Follow by shopping for Julian birthday present, a flask for myself and a birthday present for my big boy. I make two men very happy now

This is not the best prata I tasted but it will be too hassle to make Law drive all the way to the famous prata place to satisfy my craving. DO NOT waste your tummy on lousy food! This mutabak Sardine is not lousy but not the best. $6 for a big portion which is still worth it, only setback is the skin is not crispy and the curry is not sour and spicy enough. However, I fulfilled my boy boy Womb Service call.

Thanks E-Lin and Lilian for contributing their EO to make this wonderful insect repellent. I have been experiencing some itchiness whenever I sit on my office chair. Seen like something crawling on my legs but just couldnt find anything. Hopefully, this will stop the sensation.

The comic is so cute that I forwarded it on my facebook which reflects how I feel all the time. Surprisingly, I have craving during this pregnancy. What do I crave for? Durian - I never a big fan of durian but this time I just want to dig my mouth into the King of Fruit all the time. Prata - Just want to eat crispy dough with sourish fish curry. Curry - I wanted something more flavorful or stronger flavor. I just couldnt stand bland food, no fish soup, no teochew porridge (i use to love porridge so much that I could have 2 big bowls but now I can only finish one small bowl of porridge) Yes, my boy is constantly making his womb service and luckily his variety is not too many.

真的要学会看得开，要学会放下。明知道是不可能的，可又会无缘无故失落。因该是让自己踏出第一步的时候了。 失落的感觉很不好受，要逃离又逃不掉。不可以这样，要为了小sky开心一点。
