It is time to say goodbye to our faithful "Ah Mah" who has being serving us faithfully almost everyday for the past 3yrs (coming to 4th). We enjoyed the wonderful ride we had with u and the journey we has been thru. Apologised that the kids has dirty ur "carpet" and seat sometime as they love the comfort of munching their food during the ride. You had protected the family well, we still safe and sound during the accident. I hope u are satisfy with us, as Lawrence will make sure u get a good tyre althot he only bring you for a quick shower and sent you for polished once a year. But the time has come and we had decided that you will be in great service to other people outside the world (out of singapore). You will get to see a bigger world out there and we hope the new owner will treasure you just as we did (and he gives you more bath n polish). We will rbr that U are the 1st car we own Nissan Sunny.....

Dear Julian, You give mummy and daddy a geat relief this morning. I reminded you to greet your teachers when you reached school. You and jie jie sat quietly at the back seat waiting to reach the destination. Mummy thought that I got to leave you with teacher while you bawl for us. I thought you will hanged yourself on me and refused to let me go. BUT you didnt. You reached the school, knowing where to place your shoes, following the morning routine and even greeted the teachers. You bided goodbye with mummy & daddy. Yes, no bawling and tears. Althought I could sense that you are going to tear soon. We could hear your voice trembling when you said bye to us but you never cried. Mummy and daddy are so proud of you. We Love You.

Since Law like electronic gadget then I like Kitchen gadget. I just got myself a blender and yes I'm up to something.

The kids n I are fortuante this month of November as Law doesnt need to work on weekends. Finally, the days has come that his two new colleagues could help out in the shifts. Gone the days where he need to do weekends and weekdays shift, that was terrible for everyone of us but we still manage to pull thru. Unfortunately, one of his "customer" called him to help him in his computer. He din really wanna take up this extra biz anymore but just couldnt reject them. He never good in rejecting pple. Haiyah, one big good man. I must count blessing for married a kind man like him. haha. After fetching us to and from the Very hungry caterpillar show, he went off to fixed the computer but was told that the OS crashed and he needed to bring it back to fix. Luckily he didnt forget his promises to bring us to Liang Court for dinner. There was a massive jam along the way to Liang court car park. We got to park our car at UE2 and walk to Liang court. Disney never fail to dig out $$ from parents pockets. Beside the annual Disney on Ice, they have Disney Princess this year. As the theme imply, I dun see the need to bring Julian along. We reached there just in time. I was really hungry as I rushed out without having my dinner. There were alot of Disney characters on displayed for sale at the North entrance. I brot a snack and a roasted chix sandwich to feast during the show. Luckily they allow us to bring in food. The show was very well made, songs and dance and storyline which was squeeze into 1.5hrs. Our seat were quite good, clear but not for taking pictures... I was glad Janelle enjoyed the show and I got her a Belle cup for behaving well this weekend.

I am bringing the kids to watch The very very hungry caterpillar, heard so much abt the author thus wanna give the children a chance to expose more to drama and art. Xian just had a minor surgery to remove a lump in her breast so she still need to have more rest. She asked Song Kwee to bring Jovan along. We met 9:45am at Funan MacDonald for breakfast. Jovan behaved so well that day, may be becos it wasnt Xian who brot her. Shld encourage Song Kwee to bring Jovan out more often. I also agreed with him that Jovan need to be more independent, sending him to childcare is gd idea. We were just in time, Ethel and her kids were already seated. The show started on the dot! The puppets were great! They were so much better than the Rainbow Fish production but the story was kind of slow. That was what Janelle commented, she hoped it will goes faster. Julian, Mummy is so pleased that you enjoys the school so much although you still cry and wldnt let us go in the morning. Your teachers are so nice to report your progress to whoever come and pick you up everyday. Teachers said you did not cry extensively but only lasted a while. However, a short cry can sometime make yourself vomit and trouble others to clean up the mess for u. You take all the meals well in school. Have a good serving of lunch and still gobble down a few donuts during tea-break. You have such a good appetite that really surprised mummy and nai nai. However, you still need time to get use to the routine and environment so you can take a longer nap. You have adapt well and fast. We are so proud of you. You are mummy and daddy handsome little chap. Janelle, mummy really appreciate your co-operation and impressive adaptablity in the new childcare. I decided to change Julian from half day childcare to full day childcare on the 2nd day of school. As I realised Julian has found a teacher he could attach too, the decision may be too fast or too cruel to little Julian but it still proven a correct choice at the right timing. MIL said the teacher reported that Julian only cried after I left. He stopped and continued the school activities, able to eat well, and also nap for 1 hr. As for Janelle, she is able to adapt to the childcare routine on the 1st day. She has really grown up so much, becoming so sensible and mature. She didnt manage to nap on the 1st day, however she napped a hour and half on the 2nd day. Janelle must be attractive in some sense, there are always kids attracted to her, stick and wanted to be with her all the time. Well done Janelle and Julian! Mummy and daddy are so proud of you!

I requested PD Sim to check both kids height for my recording. On 15/11/2008 Janelle is Height: 121cm Weight: 22.7kg Julian is Height: 95cm Weight: 13.5kg

The day has come for the kids to attend childcare. I always wanted to send Janelle to Tai Pei CC, due to good reputation and religion reason. However, I dun have backup last time. Since Julian has reached the age to attach childcare, it is the best timing now. Both of us had a disturbed sleep last nite due to Julian, we really have hard time getting up. Janelle is well prepared for today ( mentally ). Julian isnt (physically n mentally). He refuses to wake up in the morning and I spend sometime trying to get him up. We reached the childcare center at 07:40am. Janelle was ok all the way, which was what I expecting from her. Julian seemed to know I wld leave soon and he to get panic and cried. The staff allowed me to accoy him to the computer room where the kids will take a book and read. At ard 8am, while the kids washed their hand for the breakfast. I managed to sneaked and hide myself from Julian. I told Janelle to look after Julian and give him as much comfort as possible. I went bac...

Janelle has being coughing on and off for months! From the very last visit to PD Sim till now, we still hear her coughing. Althot not persistant cough but she never really recover. Since we are bringing Julian for his jab, I suggested to Law to let PD Sim examined Janelle again. After hearing abt Janelle case, PD Sim decided to prescribe some medicine for Janelle sensitive nose. He suspected her night cough was due to backdrip. He wanted us to monitor, avoid aircon when she sleep and she has to finish the course of medication. She was given Zyrtec and Singular for her sensitive nose. Aiyo, the medicine and the PD consultation fee cost us $100++! We spent nearly $300 on doctors for both kids that weekend.

1st thing to prepare the kids for childcare will to get them all the jab they need. Janelle was ok, she got all her jab including chix pox & prenavar but Julian still need his chix pox and prenavar jab. We have be delaying, either I need to work on Sat or Law need to work. Finally the weekend came that we could bring Julian to get his vaccination. We told PD Sim of our intention, he opened Julian health booklet and got a shock! He said Julian have not received his DPT booaster jab. HUH! was my only expression. How could I have missed that! That jab was to be taken on 18th month but he didnt get it so it was nearly a year over due. PD Sim said this jab was necessary for the kids so we have to take the chix pox and prenavar next round.

I woke up with a blurred mind this morning, cannot imagine how to peck myself up with only 5 hrs of sleeps for two nites. Really hope I can stayed in the bed longer but I got to send Janelle to school so I have time to take some photos for her with her friends and rush back to change and go for a meeting at the site office. I briefed Janelle on the allocated of the goodies for her classmates, her teachers and two muffins parcels for the school bus uncle and aunty. After we go round sending our thanks to the teaching staffs, we head back to Janelle class. Told the teachers that I got the permission from the principal to take photos with the kids. Three very good friends Self proclaim princesses (Cinderella, Sleeping beauty & Snow White) Janelle is the tallest girl in the class. Oops and the tallest classmate in the class too.. Snapped a few photos but I forgotten to ask the teachers to take photo with Janelle. Haizzz... Result of my panda mind.

At the back of my mind, I wanted to spend sometime to get some gifts for the teacher at Chen Li Kindergarten but I was really busy with work and there was little time for me to do much shopping after work and weekends. The last day of the school term drew near and I dun think I will ever find anything meaningful at this short time. I came across a quick muffin receipe and thot to give it a try, if successful I will be able to get Janelle to bring something to school to share with her friends. The muffins will also be a token of appreciation from Law and me to thanks the teaching staffs and the great aunty who cook delicious and healthy snacks for Janelle. The muffin was really easy nd quick to make and the result was good. Quite a fool prove receipe. I didnt two batches, and use up half a kg of flour and 7 eggs. Muffins for the teachers and staff. Beside muffins I also prepared some goodies bags for the kids and I stayed till wee hours to get everything ready. I am turning into panda ...

I have made all the payment for the new Childcare that we are going to send Janelle to. The principal is a nice lady, she actually advise me not to buy the uniform till the kids settle down. I told her it was ok, I got Janelle two suites and 1 suite for Julian. Dont want the kids to feel different from rest of the kids. I dun know will both kids able to adapt to the new environment fast. Althot I have being telling Janelle what she will be expecting from the new environment but I chose to believe the kids will able to blend into the classes and routine well ASAP. I believe what I beliefs and everything will be just fine. Infact, I told Janelle she will need to go for the full day session and started as a childcare instead of kindergarten lifestyle. She will have to be more independent, to take care of herself. Shampoo her own hair, make sure she soap every part of the body, ensure she is well rise before she dry herself. Dry her hair so it will not be dripping everywhere and dress hers...

Janelle wakes up earlier than me today, which is quite a surprise. Most of the morning I have to drag her out of bed, giving her alot of reason to wake up. Today, she wakes up the sametime as daddy, as daddy need to leave for office earlier than me and I am usually the one sending Janelle to school. Law wakes me up with a morning kiss before he leave home. (Dun know why this always works!) His kiss works better than my alarm clock. Ironically, I slept earlier last night. I knocked my dreamland door once I hit my bed. What have I done yesterday that my body run into the rest mode so soon.

Today we organised a Bday dinner to celebrate my mother's bday - POPO bday! We were all quite broke, so need to search for some great offer and yet nice food. UOB is having 1 for 1 treat and I decided to go for the dinner buffet at Saltwater Cafe located at Changi Village Hotel. Usual price for dinner is S$40++ so 1 for 1 will be half price for each of us. We were late, luckily the restaurant still hold my reservation till 7:20pm. (I was 20min late). They served Internation buffet with BBQ food, of course we dun need to do the BBQ ourselves. Food was not bad, however the fresh seafood was quite tasteless. My mum commented that the cooked mussels taste nicer. They have Bak kut teh, Laksa, Roti Prata, tempura vege and some stir-fried dishes. Curry for the prata was good, the BBQ station food was also empty and the cheif couldnt fill up in time.
