I still have some homemade kim chi so I asked my mum and sisters over for Army Pot stew. It was easy to make so I didnt really making a storm in the kitchen.  I wanted to make some simple korea side dishes. Actually not very well made because not as tasty as those eaten in the restaurant.  Very simple dinner right. That is all we eating for the night. Of course there are many refill of the army pot. I used the tulip luncheon meat which have a porky taste. Never use that brand, stick to spam which is nicer. 

A few times each year I will clear all the wardrobe, to get rid of all the old old clothes and make space for the new one. Will be surprise the amount of clothes we could gather to discard. There are always a few big bags of clothes to be given away. As HDB has stopped giving and collecting the "Green bag" we have issued trying to get rid of these old clothes. I didnt want to throw them down the rubbish bin because some clothes are really new, either wore once or twice and can be wore again but didnt fit us anymore. I took this chance to tidy up all our cupboard, keeping away the winter wear, my pre-pregnancy clothes - I can collect a big luggage out of it. I also manage to clear one drawer for Baby S. It was a good clean up. The next clean up with me the middle room that we convert the kids room to study room. It was too cluster and need some "throwing away" to do. 

We have finally settled the baby car seat. There are 2 brands that I have in mind, Joie or Fedora and Law managed to find a feature that Joie has but not Fedora that make me settle my mind to go for Joie. Taka was having a promotion till 24 May with their Taka credit card which is giving 10 + 10 % and thanks to my friend XW willing to help and take the trouble to follow up to Taka on Sunday afternoon to make payment for me. She help me save $60 for the car seat which end up cheaper than Fedora. The staff is really nice to allow us to delay the delivery till September so the warranty will not kick in so early.

Have been receiving hand me down baby clothes from my sister, hubby colleagues and my colleagues. I even got maternity wear as well. Very thankful, it was a great saving to us. We only need to focus to get item like pram, car seat n towels will do.  

Law decided he wanted to go shopping at Orchard, giving the reason that he wanted to view the car seat I mentioned to him earlier. We never really cover Orchard road but just a few malls enough to spend a few hours. Orchard was so busy, we parked at Far East Plaza and walk our way to ION. This gave the kids a feel to walk around malls hopping. I bought the family to the gyoza restaurant. Delicious gyoza and an unique way to eat the noodles. I tried when I went to ISETAN sale alone on Friday. It was a good discovery. Julian was captivated by the counter seat. We actually dun mind sitting at the counter watching the chefs making Gyoza and noodles.  Gyoza-Ya. I went for my 21 weeks checkup, to ensure that my Saturday bleed is not something I should get alarm about. Baby laying at a weird position so I didn't manage to get any decent scan picture from gynae but he managed to take a good weight measurement for baby. Little boy was 446g this week. Gain a well 50 more grams but my weight still maintain. Gynae asked how I did it? I told him I also don't know but grateful that while I didn't put on and baby still grows well. Not only that but stronger because his kicks are getting more powerful now. Beside not gaining much weight, my face is sharper but my nose is bigger. Some women will look prettier when they are pregnant with different gender. Each pregnancy is so different. Enjoying it as this will be my last chance. 

Text about Julian selection with Law when he was Shanghai and have told him we need to bring our son to get his gear for his selection on the coming week. I did my 1st round combing the sport stores at parkway parade and couldnt find much there. We asked the shop assistant and got some club to visit Queenway. Most likely we could get all his gears there.  Yah, Queenway. We forgotten there is a one stop center to get all the sport gear. Law already had a shop in mind where to look for the soccer gears, he said there was a shop selling mostly soccer items and attires. Weston, we walked in and saw many soccer shoes for kids. Consult the shop assistant and since only for selection, we just wanted something entry level for him. We shortlisted 2 designs and have some concerned if the light shade will be too difficult to clean after his soccer session but then daddy said he should get something bright as well. I never had this symptom when I had Janelle or Julian even when I am doing the same household chores when I have them. I was experiencing bleeding or spotting right after I finished my last bath of the day. I was drying myself when I saw blood on my towel and next moment I saw bleeding flowing down from my legs. It was just the same as one watching a miscarriage scene in a TV show. I started to get panic and only the kids are with me at that moment. Law will only be touching down only 2 hours later. I quickly dry myself and put on a pad, when to look for my gynae appointment card as I remember I saw an emergency number I could call. I made my call and a lady pick up my call, I briefly explained my condition and she transferred my call to my gynae. I told gynae what happened and he wanted me to observe if I experienced any pain and if bleeding still continued till next morning. Next thing I realised, I didnt notice much movement from baby, so I have to give baby a few call and luc...

I was invited to a short massage session at Jo Malone boutique shop. The whole thing was only 15 mins but it was a pleasant n relaxing experience. I was asked what I wanna smell today. I wanted something that boost me a bit so I was introduced something more citric but after a few combination I still like something floral so she added Peony to make it more feminine.  Testing out the fragrance I want 1st. Teaching me how to overlay each fragrant. Using bath and hand wash 1st then the cream or lotion n finally the cologne.  Lemon water and sweet. So cute right.  Before I leave, she gave me a fragrance shower. Spraying the Peony, grapefruit n Orange on me.  I continued my day shopping at Isetan and a few sale girls asked me what fragrance I put on and I smell so nice. Hahaha... 

Janelle took a photo and showed me a form that need our signature. We were so happy that Julian was selected for the selection programme. Something he waited for, he has being playing n practicing at home n grandparents house all the while. BIL praised that he was amazing and could always able to have the soccer ball on his feet.  For me I hope he can excel in his interest and stick on it to the end. 

Daddy was participating in "China International Electric power and Power Engineering Equipment and Smart Grid Exhibition" at Shanghai Expo and at the same time there is another exhibition going on which Law think I will be very interested. That is the "Bakery China 2015, Shanghai, China" and I was told that whole exhibit covers 10 halls. 10 halls! I thought our Hotel, Food, Wine and Dine that overs over 4 halls at our Singapore Expo is already quite a big event but it cannot compare the 10 halls in Shanghai. How can one finish viewing all the 10 halls for 1 days? It was a 4 days event and one must come back everyday just to view 2.5 halls each day.

Had a super duper detailed scan from TMC. I believe is the longest I had ever before, and I dozed off a few times while looking at the screen trying to figure out which body part of the baby. Baby is not very cooperative and kept hiding hands and arms else turning at some weird position that was hard to take the reading. Best part - when the sonographer asked if I knew the gender although I told her I knew she told me I was having a girl. I have her a loud "huh", you mean my amino fluid giving me a false result or what. She rescanned again and confirmed it was a boy because baby refused to open his legs. Shy baby. Many time she need to tug my tummy a little for baby to move so she could see the organ properly and when she could get a good look at the scan, baby moved again. Look like I'm having a very active boy.  I wondered if the sonographer was very meticulous on her job or she was new. She really looked into the scan so carefully n detailed. We celebrate the day with our mother, mother in law and other mothers in the family. We celebrated Mother day with my mum, sister and brother at Geylang clay pot restaurant. It was a good dinner and can see that mum enjoyed it very much.  Kids celebrated mother day with me at Din Tai Fung and they were so good this weekends. They woke up on their own without me pushing and tugging them these 2 mornings. A very pleasant surprises for me.  Finally, I decided that mother in law should not be neglected. I cooked pig trotter, steamed fish and salted veg soup for dinner. 1st cooking pig trotter and we finished everything, of course not me eating it. Btw, I'm not only cook for mothers during special occasion but I do ask my in law over on Sunday for dinner. Unless one, (who always like to comment my facebook posting as if I did not give credit to my mother in law) who only like to post his loving photo on facebook as if he really care his parents well. We found a good and cheap eatery at Lavender neighborhood which gave us much surprises. The neighborhood has changed much after the hotel had started operating there. The Lavender is actually quite a busy place with ICA, and near to the bus station going back to Malaysia.  It flourished more when the new hotel started operating.  We chance upon this western restaurant called Collin's. The price is reasonable and we decided to try if the food is good.  Janelle had fish and chip with truffle oil mushroom soup. I had tiger prawn with pasta Did realise that there is a small portion of salad serve together with my pasta else I will not order another caeser salad. Law had chicken and pork chop combo. I have a dream. I dreamt that I was chasing after 3 cockroaches that I saw in the house. I chased them into the sink hole that was below my kitchen sink and then I saw another 3 cockroaches in that sink hole. I wanted to terminate all of them because I dun want my house to be infested with roaches. While dreaming, I still remember able to brainstorm how to kill all of them and one of the best and environmental methods was to spray these roaches with soapy water. I read somewhere that it kills them without the need to use insecticide.  Yes, while I dreamt I was preparing the solution, I got woke up by Law. Shit!... Should I check my kitchen if the 6 roaches still around? I am going to get you! I will show no mercy to roaches! 

Big J was selected to represent the school for oversea exchange programme. We are excited for her and was the country she visited last Nov-Dec. It will be a cooling weather when was there. Parent will have to pay half or lesser. It will be a good exposure to go away without us. We think she should has no problem taking care of herself. However, we all have some conditions to agree to let her take part as well. I told her she has to perform well for her SA2 before we nod our heads to let her fly with her peers. She agreed but I think constant reminder is still required.

It was supposed to be a day to stay home for revision but the morning breakfast ended up shopping till 4pm. However we managed to achieve, eating, shopping, relaxing and revision on the same day!  Xian sent me some promotion offer to look at. The store was opened on holiday day and we decided to dropby since we at at Tampines. We targeting to get the display set which is having offer but Law never really willing to set for display set at all. He still eyeing for our old trusted brand Mclaren. Our requirement is clear, sturdy and light of course avoiding China made if possible and keeping within the budget of around $250 or lesser will be better. We still looking at Mclaren Quest although there are some defect on the wheel after t-loan to a friend - never loan anything out if u think ur hubby is very yin Jin.
