Xmas Gathering with BFFs

Image
This year I host the Xmas gathering at my messy house. We have peng cai and chilli crab for lunch. Joe brought the family despite the bb has just over a month old and Jared is sick. Eeli brot the whole family too. I requested Jennifer to brot her niece along so the girls could play together. Dear Julian was a good host, he shared his toy with the younger one. My dear Viven was such a good helper in the kitchen and helped me so much with the chores so I could just cooked for the rest. Xiangwei and the uncles were always there to entertain the kids with educational board games. With the help of xiangwei, Janelle finally understood how to play the cluedo boardgame and she could actually teach me later. Must thanks Edmund taking care of all the gift exchange programme. Each and everyone did a small part for the party although in my crampy place but we got closer each year. Everyone must have work hard for this year... Enjoy the fruitful returns dear friends.

Mary Kay Mineral Powder

Image
I love the Mary Kay Mineral Powder, it is so light and natural and super easy to apply. All I need to give my face a primer base then brush the powder on my face and it gave me the soft look effect immediately. The powder is so fine and doesnt give the cakey look on my face. As my face is better this time so there isnt much covering of scar I need to do. The powder is so handy, I only need less than 5 mins to complete my base. Best part is the powder not expansive. Let give the product more time to be tested on my face. I must get the brush ASAP to maximise the result. Oh yes. read the review for yourselves. http://www.temptalia.com/mary-kay-mineral-powder-foundation-review http://www.totalbeauty.com/reviews/product/6185241/mary-kay-mineral-powder-foundation

Movie month

Image
Hubby said we broke our own record of having to watch so many movies this two months and I never actually realised that. There was a week we actually watch 3 movies, The Hobbit, Life of Pi and Wreck It Ralph. These are the movies that we watched from November to December. 1stly we watched Rise of the Guardians, infact I love this the most compairing to other animation. Then we visited the vampires and monsters, would feel that this movie is more suitable in Oct. May be Oct is the exam month so it will be better to have it during Xmas. Kids love video game and this was something different comparing to the other animation. Normal storyline, cute characters and colorful background. Movie for the adults, we spent the minimum to watch 3D and 170 min to wait for the fighting scene to start. Only I realised there are 3 parts of it later. hahaha.. silly me. Well, I still enjoyed the movie alot and the good 3D at CSM.

Food at Little India

Image
Many people doesn't like the idea of going to Little India but did you know it is actually a gem. It is such a colorful and flavourful places. I love going to Tekka Market cos you get diff kinds of fresh seafood there. The hawker center has many stalls selling very delicious India food. I love Thosai, a flat India pan cake, especially with masala and I will always order my Thosai whenever I visit the place. you can free flow of the gravy to eat with you Thosai. One Masala Thosai only $1.40 and a Vasadi is another $0.40. So my meal is only $1.80 filling up my tummy.

Children learn what they live

If children learn to criticism, They learn to condemn. If children live with hostility, They learn to fight. If children live with ridicule, They learn to be shy. If children live with shame, They learn to feel guilty. If children live with encouragement, They learn confidence. If children live with tolerance They learn to be patient. If children live with praise, They learn to appreciate. If children live with acceptance, They learn to love. If children live with approval, They learn to like themselves. If children live with honesty, They learn truthfulness. If children live with security, They learn to have faith in themselves and the others. If children live with friendliness, They learn the world is a nice place in which to live. Extract from the book "Dum Sun for great parenting" by John Ng

2D1N

The 3D2N sleepover didnt work that well for Janelle. The poor girl is not use to a new room and bed so she didnt actually sleep very well and infact sleep very late that night at Faith's place. I should have expected that and I thought the last night will be better. NO I was very wrong, she started to miss home and the next day I got a call from Faith telling me that she was weeping and request to go home. I could understand the feeling, and we drove her home after Julian's class. Apparently, th sibling kids missed each other very much. However the sudden departure set poor Rayna wondering what went wrong during the stay and even put my dear friend Faith if she wasnt a great host to my child. We were nothing but grateful for the hospitality shown for my girl during the short stay. Nothing was wrong, she enjoyed playing with Rayna just the missing part can be quite torturing during bedtime. It was an enjoyable day babysitting Zach while Faith went to have her teeth fix. He w...
