I was not informed by the school of the Maths class test, P1 not suppose to have exams but the school never says no mini test. Not really blaming the school for not telling me or giving the kids tests, just surprised to see the paper handed to me in the evening. We (My mother in law and me) have being very paranoid about his academic progress, constantly on alert what the teacher, school notes and work taken back home. We checked his bag, homework files, his organisers and questioned him daily, scared that we will missed any messages from the school. Despite all these, we didnt get a slight news about the coming Math test. Fortunately, Julian scored well for his 1st test, giving that I did not even revise with him. He didnt score full marks and got 1 mistake, I did question him if he actually understand the question. Genuinely, I think he doesnt and I am ok. If he doesnt fully understand the question and the probability for him to answer wrongly is over...

My Valentine gift for Law has finally arrived. It looks smart on Law and this is his 1st watch with leather strip. He told he will be heart broken if he knocks it during his work. *sweet*

Problem with getting a cab and there is time u need a can urgently n you can't locate one or can't get through the line. Use the App, that is what my friend taught me. The probability for you to get a cab is higher than calling in. Furthermore they enhance the system by giving u a reminder call with taxi vehicle number before the cab arrives. This is for pple like me who only be driven. Love the App, I can plan my time better.

Good sauce + Good ingredient = Yummicilous lunch The spaghetti is great today and the kids love it. I created my version of bow pasta salad and it rocks!!! Julian has to steal my salad after he finishes his plate of spaghetti.

I am very honour to be invited by Law's manager to attend the company dinner at Jade Palace at Forum Orchard. There will be good food, gourment wine, discussion and lucky draw!!!! Law is so lucky to win an Martell XO home.

Really how lucky I was to pick a $50 dining voucher for Issac. They got me to buy TOTO and we have a small good new that one of them won us $90. We actually took back our investment n got a little profit although we didn't win the jumbo prize but it is good enough to elate us. Time to plan for the next makan session.

Seriously I dun know what side dishes they are serving me. Not my kind of taste bud! However, my cold spicy noodles is delicious.

  Chinese New Year is coming to an end and before that it is time to wrap up the old PC team gang for a Lou Hei to bless for a smooth and prosperity Snake "hissss" year. This is my 1st and last Lou Hei with my colleagues. We nearly didnt make it as the Red Star Restaurant is so packed with people and the restaurant is so yaya for not allowing me to make reservation. I wanted to try the YuSheng there as it was originated from the "4 Kings". We didnt want to wait cos Issac couldnt stay long as he just started work in the new company. We jump hop to Crystal Jade at Great World, ordered a small plate of Lou Hei (actually quite a big plate) and some dim sum for lunch. Luck must be on our side, I picked a lucky $50 Crystal Jade voucher and lucky us as Issac foot the lunch bill so the rest agreed that he should get the voucher. To continue the luck, we pool in to buy TOTO for coming draw tonight. “一定發”is the set of number we getting... 發  發   發！！！

When I open up the package, there are 3 parts of it to be completed, then assemble to make into a nice piece. This is how much more I have to do. Eyes turn cross after an hour. Persistence is the way to go. I am progress well but slow, as I only have the night to trying best to fill up as much as possible. Still I am happy to see every progress each night.

I have so many storage boxes that I still think not enough. The lock n lock package is only $9.90 that is too hard to miss. Got a kitchen helper as I saw promoter demonstrating the use of it. For smaller quantity will be good, Nicer Dicer will be better if I need to cook alot .

Tuesday again. CCA for Janelle and I made her fried rice with two sunshine up. One for break and the other for lunch.

Hubby have eaten the set meal for 4 with his ex-colleagues and wanted to try the set for 2. Just happened that he sent his staffs to a train station and the restaurant was nearby so I granted his wish. We arrived early and the restaurant was not crowded.  Lovely light setting but noisy crowd, even the waitress had problem hearing our orders. Come with the set. The udon is very fresh. The caeser salad is very unique. Hot pot and fries. Dun understand why they included the fries in the set. This clam was very good. Yuzu soda. We always make this drink when we have guests or gathering.

It is creepy to know your kids grow taller by every cm the next morning they wake up. My Janelle has the habit to tell me creepily that she has grown taller each term. Each time she tells me about her height, it will also come with the weight. For the 1st term, she told me "Mummy, I was measured 150cm." What will she tell me before her mid term holiday? Is there a possiblity that she will be 160cm before Secondary 1?

Thanks 盛仔，for giving me a bottle of "cannot be found in Singapore" Ketchup. I was told that this product could not be found in Singapore. It has to be nice!!! "Instead of white vinegar, this version of our classic ketchup is blended with balsamic vinegar for a more sophisticated taste. Look for it at a store near you."

This is the 1st time we activated AA, after paying a few years of subscription fee. Nothing gonna come good if u need to activate AA. If u think driving up a kerb is nothing, think again. My back wheel looked like it after hitting the kerb. Cursing the kerb? NO, hamtam the driver given that we just changed the wheel 2 month back. This is the silliest incident!

Cold wet evening and I am craving for a pot of hot soup. I landed myself one bus stop away from Tiong Bahru Plaza. Can't wait to get my hand on a hot bowl of fish soup only to realise the food court was closed for renovation. I want my HOT SOUP HOT SOUP. Walked around the plaza and decided to try out the new Korean Restaurant here. Ordered a pot of seafood toufu soup, taste ok but the soup all serve in a small pot. Small dishes are ok but the korean waitress r quite slow and didn't know what to do next. Fortunately, my dish came really quick and I got to enjoy my hot soup while looking at the lost waitress struggling with the other customers. When I was done n about to go home, I realise I missed Law's SMS and I checked my mobile he just text me that he have reached. Oops!!!! Rush out of the train station, we tried to settle down with a restaurant but it was too pack with couple celebrating Vday. Poor Law ended up with Long John dinner but with me accoy him. Happy V...

Love the sauage here and we head back here for our Valentine celebration. Had our celebration a day before since Janelle wanted to stay over at MIL that day. Miss the crowd. Good choice

When was the year Monster Inc showing in Singapore? How many times have you watch the animation over these year? Do you love the animation? I love it! Keep wondering why they did not make more of it. After waiting for so long, PIXAR is launching Monster University!!!! Coming in June. Just in time for June holiday movie treats.

Julian has been enjoying his freedom to spend his pocket money since he started school. There are times he actually request grandma to give him more pocket money. We started to check his expenses daily, made him tell us what he had spent during his break. We realised he was quite a big eater. He ordered a bowl of noodle, then an egg, fishball and there are ocassion he will buy a waffle after having his noodles. Back home with empty stomach he has no problem finishing a packet of instant noodles so school canteen  noodles may not be enough for him but he is not just hungry but the craving to eat is stronger. Totally have no concept of saving, I will have to restrict him to dave $0.50 each day so he will not overspent. There are days where grandpa will spare him additional $0.50 on top of his pocket $$. There are one funny incident regarding saving.... I was fuming that Julian did not have a simpliest concept of saving. He need to learn to save and not spend all his $$ away...

Today is only the starting day of work and Law told me he needed to travel next Monday. Luckily only to neighbourhood country and will be back the same day. Time to get him annual travel insurance
