After going thru the kids and our wardrobe. I realised the kids have quite a few clothes that were new. Just Janelle alone, she has 2 dresses from Jshopper.com, 1 Laura Ashley I got from HV, 1 dress that I asked my mum to make. Julian has more than 8 tops - long, short tees and shirt that I got over the months. He still has at least 5 new pants. I think I can stop getting the kids more clothes. Hmmm.. may be some new panties for Janelle and new pj for Julian.

Couldnt sleep at this hour... have being surfing net for hours and I could feel pain on my back. I must have bend too much while typing. TV was still playing the programmes... accoy me till I finished blogging.... We sent Janelle and ILs off to HK early 23 Dec morning. I told Janelle we needed to wake up before the Sun. I threw her a qns if it was morning while Law drove us to Airport. She said YES but I asked her why I couldnt see the SUN? She was dumbfolded. hahaha.... Poor Julian got drag up by us to the Airport but he dozed off after our breakfast. Finally the house was back to me, Law and Julian. I dun know do I missed the noisy-ness or the quietness. Finally have more time with Julian, I actually forgotten I need private time with Julian as well. Once again, i was bolt down by work and it was quite a lousy Saturday as my mind simple couldnt work at all. I just felt like sleeping and I couldnt seemed to work logically althot I had already briefed my contractors. I just couldnt wait for the migration to be completed. Luckily we still managed to finish them by 6pm. Infact , by then my brain simply couldnt work any more. Luckily Sabrina's cousin Jerome bday celebration on saturday . In conjuction to the HK trip, I decided to let Janelle take a Prenavar jab before she fly off. After hearing the talk abt the virus, the thinking of making the 2 kids having the jab linger in my heart for very long. However, the jab is really super exp. Dr Sim charge $170 each jab. Now I couldnt wait, I must get Janelle to have it. As for Julian, he was long due for his MMR jab. I decided to bring the 2 kids on Friday nite cos I needed to work on Sat and Law have a last min assignment from his boss. MIL simply cannot understand why Janelle needed that jab. I couldnt bother to explain to her, anyway it is meant for her well being. I couldnt take the risk to lost my only daughter. Dr Sim's clinic was closed, we were so unfortuante that he started his holiday on that day. *sigh* So I dropped into one of the clinic call "Healthway" to enquiry abt the jab. I set my eye on one Bossini chocolate corduroy pant at Bossini but I didnt buy it in the 1st place. I was quite fickle minded if I shld get it. I'm soon regretted cos the 2nd, 3rd times I visited other branches, they din have the size I wanted. I tried two different sizes the 1st time and decided to take the smaller size cos all the jeans I got turn out to be too lose after 1st wear. I couldnt find the smaller size after I decided to get it. I went to Vivo branch after having my German sauage that nite. I was very determined to get the pant that nite but very disappointed when the sale lady told me they din have the size anymore. I requested them to do a search for me in the other branches. They managed to find a branch at Causeway point and make a reservation for me. I spotted another pair of jean in the shop that nite which cost lesser than the Corduroy pant. Law has being telling me about the delicious sauage restaurant at Vivo City and kept telling me he wanted to bring me there. Finally we made it to the restaurant on Monday after work. That meant we skipped the child visiting that nite. I guessed it healthy to married couple with kids to have some breather session ocassionally. The restaurant is called Brotzeit German Bier Bar & Restaurant It has a very relax ambient, and Law chosed to have a table facing the sea, looking at the Sentosa. Well, I could say that is a very nice view but it was indeed pretty relaxing cos we din have to rush thru our meal. We ordered the mix sauages combo for two which compromised of diff kinds of German sauages. I expected the sauages to be real BIG but they werent. However, they served the sauages with an unique tip and a nice portion of sautee vegetable which i believe to be cabbage. Shopping malls really take the great effort to organise many kiddy show for the kids. There are so many last weeks that I decided to chose Barney cos it is the nearest to our place. I dun really feel that the kids enjoy it but is a 1st time experience for Julian. We settle our lunch at MOF. It is quite a nice place. Thanks to Florence for introduce the restaurant to me. Julian looked so bored with barney. Look like Daddy and Son prefer each other more.

Couldnt take it finally, so I took a day off to relax at home. Then Xian sms me and told me she wanted to go to Browhaus to trim her eyebrow. I told her I was on off so we can proceed earlier instead of after 6pm. It was never easy to bring little one out, Xian was late cos she needed to prepare Jovan for the outing. Luckily the Browhaus was nice enough to allow my sister to go ahead even when she was very late for her appointment. We went to Jin Tai Feng for lunch and I bumped into Rachael and family. Jovan had turned to a little devil at time and I saw Xian having hard time trying to handle him. I do agree he wasnt a easy kid and can be quite fussy at time. No wonder my mother never wanted to babysit our kids for us cos she couldnt handle anyone of them. I found this in one of the blog but i cant rbr which blog. I find this Beggar's Chicken not too hard to prepare so I am planning to make one this coming weekend. Beggar's Chicken 1 whole chicken, about 2kg 5-6 dried mushroom, soaked till soft and diced thickly 1 large carrot, diced thickly 1 Tablespoon kei chi 5 shallots, sliced thickly 3 garlic, sliced thickly 1 pce lotus leaf, soaked in warm water till soft 1 large pce heavy-duty aluminium foil (or 2 large pieces regular foil) marinade : 1 Tbsp oyster sauce 1 Tbsp black soya sauce 1 Tbsp shiaoxing wine 2 tsp sesame oil Seasoning : 1 tbsp light soy sauce 1 tbsp sugar 1 tbsp shiaoxing wine 1/4 tsp salt dash of dark soy sauce 2 tsp sesame oil Dough : 3 cups plain flour 1 cup coarse salt 1-11/2 cups water Method : 1. We have brot Julian to his 1st dip finally! Thanks to Sulan and family for allowing us to swim at their condo which is located at Kovan - Kovan Melody. It is a nice condo and Janelle is super excited with it. She even told daddy to get a house that has a pooll. Julian is super daring, he simply love the water. He dun even need any warm up. The moment we submerged him into the water, he started giggling and splashing. However, the water was pretty cold that day and 30 min later, Julian was trembling and I got to carry him away from the water to dry him. However, Janelle enjoyed herself very much. She could click very well with Siying and Rachael. Look like she has expanded her frd list. We proceed to Hougang central hawker for our dinner and take a short tour into Kovan Mall before heading home. I love these photos. Jan & Ju look so cute.

It was really a shocking new to my dept. One of our new collick - Poh Boon San who only joined us for 2 weeks was one of the dragonboat victim at Cambodia. Boon San was such a chatty and cheerful looking chap. He was very hardworking, I saw him asking for note to learn how to work on some tasks. Imagine I just chatted with Boon San last Thursday, asking him why he wasnt involved in the dept volunteer work. He told me he had a dragonboat competition to attend. I thot the competition was held in Spore. I didnt know he was going to Cambodia for the race. That was the last time I saw him. On Sat, I heard that Spore Dragonboat team's boat capsized. I even told Law that I have a collick who was also going for a dragon boat competition, it cant be him. The next day, I saw my collick photo appeared on the morning chinese paper and my heart sank immediately. He was one of the 5 unfound victims and it had already past 24hrs. We attended Minnie's Clarence Bday but we were quite late and Law couldnt find a car park. The chalet was crowded with pple, as expected cos was a 1st bday celebration. The chalet compound was so pack with pple. We left shortly after the bday boy cut the cake. I dun think Law could wait for the BBQ to be ready and he simply hate BBQ food so we bid the owner goodbye and head to hunt for dinner. Law decided to go to Leisure park for the PastaMania. Luckily it was still opened n I think we were the last batch of guests that nite. I was very happy to know that they have tomato soup that nite. The tomato was one yummy soup that Jan and I enjoyed. Law commented that it tasted nicer than the minestone soup he had. Janelle just have the mood to give me a Face My dinner looked good but din taste very well. Luckily the Soup turned out wonderful

Law started working at his new coy on 14 Nov. It was located at Kranji, very far from our home. He told me that the security is very tight there and there are so many level of approval he needs to go thru for a simple buy. Finally he understands how it work at my place too. hahaha... Lets hope everything will be smooth for him.

Janelle having a class party today which mark the last day of school in year 2007. Teachers have instructed the kids to bring something to eat that day. The canteen aunty will not be cooking. Thus, I prepared 12 goodies bags for the kids and I ordered 20 little cupcakes from the confectionary in my neighbour. The chief is very kind and patience to listen to my requirements. As they are meant for kids so I requested them to make a bite size cupcake for their little mouth. However, I only realised it was not really cupcake but mini muffins when the chief wrote the receipts but i dun think i have time to search for other cupcake maker at this short timing. The muffins/cupcake is well deco althot they promised to deco it will pink but none of the pink I spotted.

I just got an email from ICA that I can collect my new passport today. Yipee... they r really efficient right! Now I dun have to worry being block at the causeway.

I submitted an application for my new passport, the photo was rejected by ICA and I'm afraid I would be able to travel using the new one. Luckily my old passport is more than 6 months.

Pris- eeyore is very kind enough to open her place for the farewell gathering. Mummy Zoe will be flying over to Australia to further her studies. Of course her son Dylan will be tagging along. We will miss u very very much...

Janelle's 1st concert if finally over. I didnt make a big fuss over it. I just did wat the school wanted the parents to prepare. Infact, I didnt really know wat more can i help. I only try to doll Janelle up a little. Kid is still kid, the makeup got wear off before the performance starts and the teacher beside look after the kids have to retouch their makeup before going up the stage.
