One day, out of the blue Julian and I cross the subject about life and death. I'm not ready to discuss but kids will ask at certain stage. So happen Julian was questioning me on this. Julian: what happen to that person? Mum: he died. Julian: why people die? Mum: not only people die. Animal, insects, plants will die. Julian: where did that man goes when he die? Mum: what will you do when a cockroach die? Julian: throw away lor. Mum: same thing. Throw away too. (Julian was shocked!) Julian: really? Cannot throw away. Mum: do you keep the cockroach or ants when they die? Where you put them. Julian: throw them away. Mum: correct. We throw all died things away. (Julian gave me a shocking n horrifying look!) Julian brought up the where do people go when they die again. Julian: what happen when people die? Mum: what happen when cockroach die? Julian: throw away in dustbin Mum: we also throw away. Julian: cannot throw. Human being will grow. Mum: how can human being grow when they are dead...

Some mischievous acts and I like to address Julian this way. Mum: Where is my naughty little creature again! Julian: I am not a CREATURE! Mum: then what are you? Julian: I am a people. (He doesn't quite know what to call then) Mum: Not people is Human Being. Julian: what is Human Being? Mum: we dun call ourselves as people. The correct word to use is Human Being. Julian: Human Being. (next moment he knew the correct term to use)

Order a cover recent and I was very happy when I received the item. Doesn't take too long to arrive. Going for another batches now.

This is the 1st time I need to cast my vote, I was excited when I received my voting slip on Thursday. The very 1st thing I wanted to do when I become a Singaporean was to be able to vote during election but there was a walkthrough last round and we didnt get to VOICE it out. This moment has finally come. I have finally feel important on this special day.

Daiso a $2 shop for each and everything they sell. Some worth more than $2 so super worth it but some items not really so. Althot they have established many branches in Singapore, but not all the branches are that organised. I love the IMM branch cos it was so spacious and items are very well displayed and organised. The next newer branch are Bukit Panjang Daiso, I can find the item I want very easily. Shopping at Daiso is like treasure hunt, one must be very careful and detail to go thru their shelves and sections very thoroughly if u want to find good buy. I always see Faith and Li Ming able to find some cute little stuffs at Daiso which I couldnt. hahaha.. BUT I also have my lucky moment, Law found this cute little toy when we were shopping at IMM Daiso, toy section. I believe Julian shld be the one who found it. Wanted to wait for the new iPhone5 but I have already asked for the voucher which only valid for a month. Just go for it! Took us one hour to Q, enquired and finally getting the phone then I need to apply for dual SIM so i can switch between my office mobile phone and my leisure mobile phone. Finally my 1st camera handphone after so many years. Who will believe I had never held a camera phone before. How out-da I can be and calling myself working in a so call HIGH TECH agency. kekeke... Best part - I can put on the gift that Law got me from his trip. Nice right... so ATAS!

I love conversation with Julian. He is so witty when he wants to get something out of us. Julian: Are we still going to the Art class? Mum: Which Art class? (trying to act blur) Julian: The one you brought us that day. We made tree out of the playdough. It was so fun. I want to go again. Janelle: Yah mummy, are we going back again Mum: Only once, it was a trial class. They only allow one lesson for kid. Julian: Why are we not going back again? It was so fun, I wanted to go back again. Mum: The school is so far away, it is not convinence if daddy could not drive us there. Julian: Never mind, we can take taxi Mum: (I opened my eyes really wide!) Taxi! It is going to be so expansive to go there by taxi. Julian: Noooo.. not expansive. You have money right. We can take taxi to Art class. Please please mummy, I really love the art class. Mum: Too expansive for me, you can ask daddy about it. Julian: Huh.. *sad face* Luckily Law was working that day else there Julian could go one for hours.

Have being thinking for quite sometime and we have finally put our heart to do it. After looking around, checking and comparing prices and location - infact only a few cos others fail or too costly. We finally decided and got it. Never expect that I could just do it like that. I am really pleased with it, even Law think is a good decision made. Cant wait more of it. Yippy!

I am never so lucky with my coy coporate pass. Zoo pass is really hard to obtain, I need to standby at my office notebook at 12 mid night. Ridiculous and we only have 8 passes for 3000 staffs. Crazy! So I aim for other places. Flower Worry told me coy just have new passes to Snow City. Cool! She went and told it it was fun so I decided to login and try my luck. It was a slot allocation so I manage to get a slot from 1600 - 1715 for Sunday evening. Well, it was a fact that if Julian did not CRY blaming me for leaving him out of the SNOW fun at Genting. I dun think it will cross my mind to bring the kids to Snow City cos I find it troublesome to get the kids to wear so many clothes just to enter a giant freezer. Well, the Snow City is not a huge place, smaller than the one at Gentings but the clothing and shoes are much cleaner actually. I was pre-warning so I prepared jackets, socks and glove for the kids. I should have video Julian's progress down but I was way too slow. Never mind, there are more to come. This was the 1st time I saw Julian swam one lap (breath of the mid pool) without stopping. It was a great progress for him, I was so afraid that he couldnt make it and stop in the mid of the pool. Althot it was mid pool, with his height he is still submerging in the water. BUT he did not, he struggle and swim all the way but was grasping for breath when he was out of the water. So proud of him and he was beaming with a smile on his face. Well done baby!

We brought Julian a packet of gummies from Giant supermarket. As it was already 9pm, I told him specifically he could only take 3 pieces and save the rest for tmr. Julian: The gummies are covered with sugar. Why? Mum: So kids like you like the gummies very much cos they are sweet. Julian: So sugar will have ants? Mum: Yes, so u have to stop eating when u are in daddy's car. Julian: Then I have to eat them. Mum: I said before u have to save the rest for tmr. Julian: But there is sugar so there will be ants. Mum: Just packet it nicely and the sugar will not drop off and attract ants. Julian: But the ants will eat the sugar. They love sugar! So if I finish the sweets there will be no more sugar and the ants will not come! Mum: So what do u mean? Julian: I eat the sugar and ants will not come lor. Mum: Very clever! NO... We were laughing at the witty convensation after that.

Good handwriting is never a top prority for my kids, as long as the words are readiable I could brush it away at least not for preschool cos I do not want to put too much stress on the kids. This is especially for Julian, since we all feel he is not as fast learner as Janelle but yet quite a steady one. With no expectation, he gives us surprises from time to time. I love surprises! Back to writing. I am pretty strict on Janelle on this area when she reached P1 and some may felt it will be too late for the kid to adjust and trying to writing beautifully. Fortunate, the kids love their form teacher very much and very much listen to her so I have seen great improvement in her writing. However, when come to external lessons, she doesnt care and such habit doesnt seem to be very consisitent for Janelle and I have to enforce it really hard on her. Everyone must be very eager to know what Law got for me which was supposed to be a surprised. Before I announced the answer, let me go thru what he got for this trip. 3D goggle? This is for the 3D show. Free gift. Am I getting a 3D TV? No way. Law got this and they have 3D movies so the goggle was given to watch 3D movie. This is a very small device and it look just like a normal thumbdrive. I thot Law got another HIGH capacity thumbdrive for storage. I was yet to see the effect. That mean I dun have to buy DVD series anymore, I got just go to the menu for latest HD movies, Drama series etc etc... These are the iphone 4 mobile ring done by Law's friend. I MUST be a good wife to allow husband to go holiday with his friends to CHINA. China some more, where temptation cannot be resisted. I was joking with Lilian and Vanessa that Law went 鬼混 every night but he reported his daily activities with me. That created a great interest among the two ladies husbands and they wanted to ask Law for more information when they got to meet him on weekend. While I had being struggling to bring Julian to CC every morning and this little piggy can hardly wake up in the morning and hardly could get him to sleep at 10pm at night. It was a struggle DAY & NIGHT! Althot there was a day I need to attend a meeting in the morning and carrying a heavy notebook bag on the other day. I still managed to bring him to CC and get to work in time. God Bless! Eventhot I know I can do all these myself but I cant help finding it tiring and taking a toll on me. Weekends were spent on lessons and meeting up Mary n mum for dinner. All I need to do is to plan my own timing ...

Law called to tell me he got me something. Something I wanted and yet not expansive. I asked what was it, he told me he wanted to give me a surprise. I love surprises but only good surprises.

I nearly forgotten about a trial art workshop till the center gave me a call. Really thanks the center to give me a call cos it was really a great workshop. Not only did the kids enjoy it so much, I enjoyed it too. All the while, accoy parents will only help or wait for the kids to complete the lesson. While this time, parents got to do what the kids do too. Each kid has a great piece of work to be proud of. We were told that the theme was TREE. Kids will mould what the tree is like. Janelle had her tree this way. Julian loved his tree in this style. A very much parts by parts, like each joints of his transformers. Jovan created his tree his own way. and we all have our trees in our way. Guess who work was this? Rbr I said parents got to do what the kids were doing too. Yes, it was my own. Mum said she wanted kimchi, after gathered all the ordered I decided just to drop by the factory instead of getting them to deliver. The kimchi factory was at Bedok industry park, just a turning point to the kids Satursday lesson venue. We went in the morning but they are not ready so we visit the factory again before heading back home. I like the non-spicy kimchi, althot slightly salty but quite refreshing. I gave half of all kind of kimchi for mum to try. It is going to be a kimchi weekend.

Mum need a new mobile phone and heard from a collick that this INO mobile phone was design specially for elderly. Since mum doesnt need anything that is too fanciful, I went to get her the INO F12 series which is the highest and latest series under the range. It has camera but only 2.0 pixel, a SOS button that will alert pple around u will a very loud noise and sending sos sms to pre-configured recipients. The mobile phone is small and light, I chose black cos more classy looking. Now configuring it right to pass to my mum. It is affordable, $138 with a $15 pre-paid card and I dun have to sign up a new line. Oh top of that, the starhub promoter introduced me to take up their starhub cable TV as they are having a promotion for free 3 months + digital box. I am counting all the calories on the food that I am going to deliver into my mouth and it came to a stage that I think my 3 flowers will soon cannot tahan me. I probably monitoring all their calories intake each day when we have meals and teabreak together. Who knows I may be the next walking calories expert. While planning on what to cook on weekend for the family, I am counting the calories again. More for myself instead of the kids. Anyway I bought some kimchi from gmarket and was thinking of making some kimchi pancake to try. While searching for the kimchi pancake recipe, the search engine showed me result abt kimchi calories so i clicked on a few links on the subject and 3 different website showing me 3 different calories on the same kimchi pancake. One website was showing 316 calories, the other was showing 118 and 188. So who should I believe?

Kids has being having mushroom omelet for Saturday breakfast after lesson and their new found favourite are Prima Deli pancake. Janelle likes it with chocolate and they have it with Nutella which I think is much better than the chocolate as you dun know what kind of chocolate they are using. Julian loves it with peanut butter and they could have their egg and pancake after that. An expansion of their tummy on weekend.

Kids like to ask WHY WHY WHY???? Alot of ??? that parents have to try answering, some questions can be funny, easy and some could make one dumbfolded. I encountered similar situation with Janelle and Julian. Janelle... I brot down my wedding photo one day to show her. She went through the album and manage to identified some of our friends and relatives then she came to realise that she had no account of what happened on our wedding day. There are always people or events that spoilt my planning, I can only be very flexible and do whatever I can. Haizz.. Faith smsed me on Sat telling me Andy have informed her that the swimming lesson will be shifted from 2pm to 3pm. That only means either we will be outside for a longer period after the kids morning lesson or we head back home and go for the swimming lesson later. It will be easier with Law around but tiring for me when he is on weekend duty. How could I possiblity staying outside for that long? Julian will doze off easily and it is not easy to wake him up from nap. However, I dun want to find another coach to just to accomodate my planning. It is no doubt that Andy is a better coach as those we knew and heard. Julian could now swim about 1/3 of the breath of the 1m pool. His stroke is getting better although all of us find he always looks as if he struggle to complete his breast stroke.
