I waited whole of Friday to be activated down to site but my Dy Head told me I no need to go down. I gained a free rest day but I am still on standby on Saturday incase he needed me back on site. Morning came and we exchange some messages, look like I dun have to be on site. Must really thanks my 100% responsible Dy Head for taking all the tasks. XinKu le. Since I dun need to go back site, I decided I cook for the family. Infact, Janelle prefer to eat home, sometime the kids can be very lazy to go out for meals. I got Batang fillet and also some clam. Mum came over, she brought me some jackfruit, I got her to stay for dinner. It was a stressful week, so I thought weekend with kids should be more relaxing. However, it was not totally true with this little baby at home. Wondering why is he like to make thing hard for mummy whenever we have family gai gai session, even going to NTUC. Haizzz.. He not happy that we not giving in to what he wants so protest by sitting down and giving us all these look. Even if I walked away, he just refused to buck. I was supposed to cook dinner but I started to get lazy and I asked the kids if I could just dump everything together and we all settle as one pot meal. So i gave them the idea of steamboat but we are not going to cook our food one by one. I am going to throw everything into the pot, and we will all scoop and eat from there. Janelle said she didnt want to eat out (hard to believe there are kids who still wanna eat home.) because she had many homework to clear and there are tests coming. She said she will eat whatever I prepared. My kids so cool right. LOL Make a guess what is inside this pot. I used the white radish soup I made in the noon, add in slices of fish, add on more napa, long bean, spring onion. Daddy wanted to add some clam, to go with maggie mee instead of rice. It was a good day, there was a little challenge that day when we found out I still cannot form my full network but nonetheless we managed to get the system up and the time taken was lesser than the previous job done. Everyone is so happy that we can leave the place with good result although not perfect and I am so thankful to have a very competent colleague supporting me in the office. This Valentine's gift doesnt look fanciful and also not something that worth to show off to my peer. Others probably getting a luxury gift or dinner and all cant wait to show off how lovely their partner is. Some people feel Valentine's Day is just another day where merchants cant wait to scrap off a big amount of your hard earn money. Indeed is a day to show off how much your partner cares about you. Well, for me I feel there is a need to celebrate, just use this day as a reason to go out and have a quiet meal without kids. Every year we crack our brain what to get for each other. This year, Law is very thoughtful to get me this very handy storage for my Anova gadget. I am seriously appreciate it so much because I'm having a big headache where to store it. Now I can store my device neatly after use. So damn cool! It does look very instrumental right!

This year we having our department lou hei at Rasa Sentosa Shangri-la. So near to the beach and nature. It was too warmed and i have mood to walk the beach in my attire. Lunch started.... This year I suggest to try East Treasure Restaurant at Clark Quay. Very easy to find, just beside the taxis stand. 6 of us and we are given a corner from the big hall. Their CNY dinner set but we chose to do ala carte. Abalone lou hei instead of the normal raw fish. The sauce is tangy and not over sweet. All of us like it. Each of us get a mouth of the small abalone. Hei Zuo - many of them find good, I didnt like it. Ordered 1 piece and luckily i only need to eat one. Pig stomach, kampung chicken soup is superlicious. Soup is peppery but not over-powering, the taste of the pig stomach is not too strong, light yet not bland. This is a yuan yang kind of hong fun, one is normal kway tiao and mixed with fried kway tiao as well. "Green Dragon" vegetable is very popular now. I didnt find it extremely outstanding.
