Jellio Jubilee Sky

This was a busy weekends for us and the kids. All the event seem to be cramping on these two days. 1st of all, Janelle's class was rescheduled to Sat morning, it was an extra class given by the centre. After Janelle's class we headed down to our weekend getaway stay. The services at the check in counter was great and we upgraded to the seaview room so we get to see the fireworks... (not sure if there is any). The kids went "WAH" when they entered the room, it was really beautiful and luxury. Law has waited long for this after I told him abt it and he has given instruction not to plan anymore activities after we checked in and before we checked out as he wanted to enjoy the room fully. I have to push away Han Beng invitation to his ger 1st bday as Law doesnt want to travel out once checked in and reschedule Janelle's Sunday class to another day again. But I guessed everything is worth it if arrangement can be made but I make a point that we will have to attend Veni...

It is a post-dated posting..... just that I felt I shld blog it down but not sure why I didnt last time. I saw the clothes that I given away out of goodwill appeared on the web, someone trying to sell it away. OMG. I cannot believe my eyes at all................ for goodnes sake!

At the 3rd lesson, the lecturer will bring us to take some shoots. Here are the nicer one among the shoots but still not as good as my classmates. Taking a moving object. Moving and still Looking for patterns. Creating frames Bokeh shoot Finding a subject.

Weekends were really busy for us but still celebration must still go on. I'm having an outdoor photography shoots that evening so I asked Law to meet me with the kids after that as I wanted to celebration Father's Day with him. My shoot end ard 7:30pm. Was asking Law to wait for me at Central but Janelle called me later to inform me that the car park was full and they have gone to Liang Court instead. Really sweat me out to walk from Clarke Quay MRT station to Liang Court. Poor Janelle must have being too hungry, Law said my little ger was complained of stomach pain, which i guessed must be too hungry. We settled for Saizeriya, and ordered steak for ourselves, pasta and pizza for the kids. Althot it was a short night but it was still pleasant.

We learned abt different camera mode (Av, Tv, P, Auto) and how each function. Willy also explained abt Exposure, WB (White Balance) and how we shld use them. Setting exposure when taking something on white surface or dark surface Learning abt colors (Cool or Warm) by setting the White Balance (WB) Learning how to customise the white balance. Can u see the different? The picture on the left is cooler with more blue... Creating the moving background effect. Creating the depth using two objects. This year we kept the bash small and Lilian was very nice to give us a day of the chalet she rented from her coy for the bash. Every mummies contributed something for the food, I brot roasted pork belly and some sweet corn and sweet potatoes for BBQ. There are fried rice, bee hoon, chix curry, fish ball, carrot, popiah, hotdogs, Coleslaw etc. We ordered the Prima Deli cupcake for cake cutting and since it also happened to be ard Zavier bday, Michelle ordered a ice-cream cake for Zavier Bday. Ivan and I was appointed to be the photographer but of course Ivan skill was much better than mine. I have to thank him for capturing so many funny expression of Julian.
