Janelle and Julian are going to be the flower girl and page boy for BIL's wedding this coming Saturday. As their 1st march in will be the traditional military sword ceremony, they requested the kids to walk in the hall with them at the 2nd march in. As the theme are more into the late shanghai theme, the bride will be wearing her cheong sum and she wanted the flower girls to do so. SIL and BIL got Janelle a pink cheong sum, which was chosen by Janelle herself and I got her a nice pair of shoes to go with. She always ask for a heel shoes but I didnt come across any nice looking kid heel shoes. I saw this plain platform shoes at Bata and estimated her size and gave her a surprised after her Chinese lesson. She was quite delighted! However, I still find the shoes rather plain. So I visited the craft shop and got some flowers and crystals to touch up to the shoes. I did some prototypes to see which one is nicer. The one with the chanpagne flower? BIL wedding is coming and we waited for a while before we bring Julian for his haircut for shu shu big day. He will be the boy who open the door for BIL and the page boy for the night. We realised there is one barber who did a good job when triming Julian hair and Julian seldom cry if it was done by him. So I told Law to request for the old barber as I cannot risk lousy haircut for Julian. We are really happy with the haircut and Julian is able to sit thru-out without fussing. Not only we are proud of him, he is very proud of himself and keep telling us he didnt cry.

After the 1st confirmed case in the school. The school takes extra precaution abt it now. So Tr Winnie called me to advise me that it will be better for Janelle to rest at home due to her cough and she can only resume back to school with doctor letter. No choice, i have to keep Janelle at home and to make things easier, we keep Julian at home too. Not only that, the CC teacher has sms me everyday to ask for update. I am happy that the school is actually doing their job. By Wednesday, we felt that Janelle was ready for school so we brot her to the clinic for a letter. Unfortunately, Dr Keith was not ard but the stand in Dr Wee was nice enough to help me to check her lung and throat. He only charge me $5 for the letter. So Janelle and Julian are back to school once again. They are really happy to see the teachers again. Hope the sick child will be back soon.

Teacher Loong trying very hard to reach me but I was located at somewhere without mobile signal. She called Law and informed him the 1st confirmed case in the school. Direction was given that kids will symptons or those with cough, running nose will have to be sent back home. Unfortunately Janelle fell under this category as her cough still there with phlegm. Look like she need to be rested at home for some days. Shld I bring her to Dr Keith for antibotics or just gave her pearl powder to see if the phlegm will clear in these two days. Too many things in July, just too much his month. BIL wedding is this coming sat and the kids are supposed to be the flower girl and page boy so kids pls pls stayed strong and healthy. Nai nai has always feed you with the best ingredient she can find, the most expansive threadfind fish she can source from the market and no deep fried food, no heaty snacks and lots n lots of Pao Sheng. July is a very busy month for me. Beside lots of bday party, Julian bday, daddy bday and nephew Jovan as well.... It was suppose to be an very exciting to him and he was talking none-stop when we reached his place. He also promised Xian that he will behave himself very well that day... Then I wanted him to get ready for me to take nice pictures of him with his Barney cake. Getting the family member to take pictures with him... Popo and Jovan NaiNai with Jovan Janelle, Julian, Yee ma, Yee zhan and Jovan Shu shu Family and Jovan Dun know when it happen, Janelle said something that triggered Jovan tears and he just couldnt stop and I have to no choice but to snap snap with his teary expression. Julian was nice enough to help with the candle as Jovan was really not in the right mood to do anything now.

We did some snap snap in the bedroom..... believe it or not... we actually enjoy it very much.. I started with Julian laying on our bed...since he still refused to nap. Then I teased him ard to get his on the mood... Now he was in mood and the snap started... I think he was over stimulated and started to give me some gross expression...yeeeeeee.. I asked Julian to give a some expression.. so he give me a surprised!! and his signature smile! Lastly... mummy (the amaetur photographer of the family) and my handsome Julian.

There was a mini celebration for Law at night. We went to Isetan Scott to get a mini cake and a tart as Law doesnt want to have anymore cake.. (We have too much cakes after Julian bday and all the July kids bday parties.) Law said he just wanna heard the kids singing bday song and blowing candles with him. So I set up my tripod with timer and go snap snap snap... This picture is quite funny....

After every term of lessons, there will be a term presentation by the students. The kids will present to the parents what they have learnt. The teacher will encourage the parents to be ard to watch them. This was the 1st time I took pictures of Janelle presentation. There was an additional of two new classmates, and that made the class more lively as the other two are pretty quiet. I do agree with the teacher that the two boys will have to improve the standard of the class much more. Review of Janelle progress: Teacher said she has maintained her progress and was doing well. She was able to recognise the chinese word and has no problem with her reading and work. She did well in her listening comprehension and able to describe what was in the picture correctly. However, she doesnt seem to have patience with colouring and always trying to brush thru with that.... She was the 1st one to be called out to recite to the class. I am very proud of her that she was able to read all by hersel...
