Now BC teacher doesnt really meet up with parents to update the child progress unless parents requested and make appointment to talk to the teacher. If not they will send the progress report to the child's address. Here is the comments from Janelle teacher Mr Nick Potts It has been a pleasure teaching Janelle this year. She gets on with every task with tremendous enthusiam and never gives less than 100% in class. Janelle's reading is quite strong and she can tackle challenging text with real confidence. Furthermore, Janelle's writing, spelling and general classroom skills are all of a good standard. Perhaps Janelle is slightly more reserved in her speaking and could perhaps speakup a little more. Nevertheless, Janelle's performance has been noteworthy this year and she deserves special praise for her effort. Overall, Janelle has done tremendous well this year. Brot up my courage and walked toward Andy and inform him that I have to drop Janelle from the club due to her schooling timing. He looked at me than Janelle, shaked his head. I knew what he wanna say so i explained everything to him, analysing the timing which was quite impossible for her. He took the news well but with a little disappointment and asked me to rejoin the club when Janelle switch to AM session. Is it still possible? Leave my option open.

I saw this cheap Art workshop posted at U Mag, so decided to bring the kids there for a try since I will be taking leave to be with them as CC is closed after the concert and PIL are going Malaysia for a short trip. Shun Li Industrial Complex was not too hard to find. I was a bit late but soon to realise only Angeline and Me with the kids attending the workshop. We got into work soon after we arrived. I need to outline the pictures I wanted to "SHRINK" and color it. I did the outlining for Julian while he will do the coloring. He just love this skeleton and insisted that I chose this. While all my friends K2 kids have most gone thru their graduation concert and ceremony, we are still waiting eagerly for Janelle's to happen. The graduation is finally here, on 26 November at Tai Pei Temple, Dhrama Hall. I have being looking forward to it as Janelle hasdid herself and the family proud with the nominated Model Student. We are waiting long for the glory moment on stage. A day before the concert, I smsed Tr Winnie - Janelle form teacher to request if I could come early to take photos for the kids and pictured down the preparation processes. 2 hrs later, she replied me and told me parents could come at 5pm. I guessed she dun understand what I meant so I explained in my sms. Next moment she called me and explained to me that she had rejected a few parents who wanted to volunteer to help out and take pictures for the kids. However she granted me to come earlier and would want me to keep a secret abt it incase there is any "Comotion" later. Of course, I never t...

Fair or Not Fair. I wonder how much does a kid understand the meaning of it. Janelle has being saying NOT FAIR quite often when she wanted something or do something but I didnt agree. At her age, I guess she has a certain knowledge abt it. How about Julian? I wondered if he understand, when I have my doubt abt it and yet he could demonstrate it at the correct situation and timing. I went to get Janelle a water bottle pouch so she can used it to hold her current bottle that we lost the carrier attached to it. So I took it out one morning and told her I got her a Hello Kitty design. Julian came over and saw it, he asked if he had one. I apologised that I didnt get him one cos there wasnt a design which I think he will like. He got angry and asked why he didnt have one. I asked if he mind Thomas the train or Ben10. NO! All of us are so excited for Janelle, the plan that the school has for her and her transformation to come. Here I get her to dress up in her school uniform for photoshooting. She looks so nice in pinafore. I like the customise school socks for the kids, which make a great sense of belonging. Quality of life has improve so much that their PE tee was no longer the lousy cotton tee. They are wearing Dri-dry tee now. She looks so cute isnt she.

Law and I have being arguing over the matter for sometime. Whether to stop the practise when school starts. I guess the answer is very clear unless anything going to happen but I dun think likely. Looking at the school timing, I cant think of a better reason to slot in the practise after school hours. Infact it was quite impossible to do so. Janelle will be taking school bus and the bus driver told us she will only reached home 45min later, that will be 7:30pm. How abt dinner? Cant possibly swim right after dinner too. No way out. I have to terminate the practise by end of this year. It is really a very sad decision to made given that Janelle had just joined the club for 2 months. 4 months of practises and the progress is tremendous. She has almost completed all her strokes althot not to perfection. Canossa Convent Primary focus very strongly in character development. The school has alot of programme plan out for the Canossian. There are expectations and vision for the girls. P1 & P2 students will have to attend ballet classes which is part of their schooling hours. The school call it the Aesthetic lesson. The school wanted the girls to be flexible physically, and also correcting their posture. The ACE programme which is carry every fortnightly will introduce enrichment programme and sport for the younger primary. Everything is about developing and moulding a girl to a fair lady with good character. While the principal was going through with the parents, what lies ahead for the kid who is attend this school. One thinking just came thru me, infact it shocked me so badly that I wanted to cry out. While blindly going after a good and famous school, I have never really though about if the school has a programme that will help in kid character building. I always thot that was purel...

Xmas Mood... All the shopping malls are putting up the Xmas deco, so we cant be possibly left behind. I took out the xmas tree we got last year and got the kids to do the deco. As usual, Janelle will be the commanding officer while Julian will take instructions and finished up the job. Merry Xmas from Janelle. Ok no more none sense if not CO will scold. 19 Nov. A day we waited so long for, Janelle's orientation. She was so excited and few days before she had reminded me to inform her Tr Winnie that she wldnt be attending childcare on Friday. I should have prepared her more on the orientation, I thot she will be brave and ok but we were very wrong. She didnt want to enter her class and was crying for more attention. A very nice prefect came over and help me to settle Janelle down. The kids get to do some words and games in the class while the parents will go to the hall to attend some talks by the principals and teachers.
