Gourmet Cheese

Oh my oh my... I was lucky to be in Tampines Cold Storage when there was a lady doing promotion on cheese. I wasnt a big fan but trying to be one if I could come across. She introduced me this Spring Cheese from Beemsters Dutch. Janelle and I sampled it and we fallen in love immediately. Springy and not too strong, we could just munched on it like that. It's made using the first milking from cows that graze on fresh spring pastures. We chosen a slices to sample. One to note not to place the cheese near the fruit cos it will make the cheese mouldy. Oh I learn something new. Information of the cheese: The cows graze 20 feet below sea level in the Beemster polder, which has been named a UNESCO heritage site. The blue sea clay from the reclaimed land provides rich minerals and fertile land for lush pastures. The Spring Cheese is reputed to be extra buttery, creamy and full of intense flavours. Good with fruits or wine, or as a melting cheese in sandwiches, burgers, pizzas or casseroles...
