This is my 1st time making 包. Digging out my favourite recipe book and follow accordingly. Following the instructions on the book. I really love the recipe books from this author because there are pictures illustration that allow me to follow step by step. The most difficult part is to seal up the 包 and I am 新手。我的第一次做的包真的够丑。 哈哈。  Cant see the folding.  The bao are finally done. I am making vegetable 包 which I always love very much. Prepared by turnips filling a day before hand.  The steamed bao is finally out! I like the texture of the 包, doesnt stick to my teeth! To achieve such an amazing result for a 1st timer really deserve a praise, I am really proud of myself but need to brush out my skill to make a more presentation end product. I was given an oversea assignment by my AD, condition that I am only going for a site survey and not the actual execution of the job. The way he bring it up to me was quite funny, he sound so worry that I will not go if I was to take up the job later. It is quite a surprised that I still get my chance to fly for my work again. I still remember the promise that given by my ex-manager but he simply acted as he never said before and all the lousy excuses and avoiding eyes contact when he asked around the team members who wanted to take up the oversea assignment. Did he actually remember what he said but purposely acted as he forgotten to shun me away? I had learned not to trust this superior anymore cos he meant when he was mean but he never meant anything good coming from his mouth. When he knew that I will be going for the task, he sound like I "Kio tio" the job. Sickening.... But I must said the he is a lousy planner with no compassionate for his staffs at all. How could...

We waited a year for the Beemster Spring cheese and I must say it is all worth it. I got a small piece from Cold Storage for Janelle and she couldnt stop eating it. 

This is one good breakfast and healthy snack that is quite surprised us. We also though the home brand like NTUC will not produce anything to such standard. The 1st time trying the bao was when I was still in the programme, after that I went searching for this bao in the supermarket. Even Law said the bao taste good. BTW it is mini bao and the skin contain oat. 

I was so happy preparing meal that I lost count of the dishes. I actually cook 5 dishes for a family of 4 with only 2 adults and 2 kids.  Shell fish, steam fish, strew chicken, fried vegetable and soup. Steam fish with lime/lemon. It tickle your taste bud to the maximum level.  Stir frying 海瓜子 it is kind of shell seafood and the shell is very thin and cook very fast.  Stewed chicken with mei cai. 

这是我黄家闺女读的书, 一定要够厚不然不到一个礼拜就读完了。 黄家小弟没黄家大姐厉害啦! 有读我就谢天谢地了。不过这次不错喔, 有借到他喜欢看的书。 黄家的女主人- 那就是我了也是家里的管家婆和孩子眼中大凶妈妈就借了烹饪和旅游书籍。因为要去度假所以要好好的了解当地。 这里比一比就知道谁的书最重。

Making my own sour fish soup after the inspiration dinner at Hongguo. Unfortunately, no photo was taken cos we are too hungry and forgotten about it. Fortunately, the soup turn out well and Law like it. It was a surprise that Janelle enjoyed the soup too. I actually made the normal, none spicy and sour soup for the kids but Janelle took the challenge and commented that the sour was more tasty and appetizing than the normal soup I made for her.  Will follow up with photo the next time I made the soup again. 

Heard and read so much about the Song Fish Market that I decided to drop by the nearest outlet to take a look. The shop is clean and neat and allow customers to browse the products they had.  The shop will give you an insulated bag like this is you spend more than $50 if I was not wrong. The more you spend the better insulated bag will be provided FOC to hold your seafood else you can also pay to get the bag if you couldnt reach the amount.  Scallop on the shell, defroze and steam or bake in the oven. Going to try it next week. Frozen crayfish and I still have no idea how am I going to cook it yet. The shop attendant told me to cook it with sauce, just like cooking chilli crab.  The cod fillet were well cut comparing to the frozen one from NTUC. It was $45 per pack and should last the family for a few weekends. 

This preserved vegetables fish slice noodles is so good. Just like the sour fish fish my mum cooked. The sourness just tickled ur appetite more. yummy. Munch it at HongGuo.

I want this although is not the most current design or the highest specification but I have points to change for it. Which mean FREE!!!!  The kids will love it.  After weeks of waiting, my redemption is finally here. 

Shopping always make one happy and shopping for holiday will create the happy thoughts that last longer?? Luggage shopping also mean we are going holiday soon!!!  The 1st place we go to look at the luggage is Mustafa. WHY? I actually have certain brand in mind that I wanted to get but we will assess the design, weight and price before we really bring it home.  Pierre Cardin - is it a weird brand that most travellers will not thought of? I perfer soft casing luggage comparing to hard case. I like the expandable option using the soft case. This is one of the design that Law set his eyes on. It was quite an interesting design which is quite different from others. Just a survey trip and we didnt bring it back home.  Then I saw some OG promotion on the newspaper, thinking of going during weekend but Law was more anxious than me. He wanted to go and have a look after work. Promotion doesnt mean no good. Infact I fell in love with this 22" expandable lugga...

Always wanted to get her a proper watch that will last her longer and presentable. When we offered to get her a Baby G, she rejected ! Still not sure of what design to set for, she actually settle down for a cheap and workable Casio watch. When she gets older and her peers around her, she requested for a new watch. We brought both kids to Mustafa for sourcing. Julian lost his watch a year back, and we think he is ready and required a watch to keep his time. We walked around the display cabinet and spotted a Timex watch which he set his eyes on. $49 will all the function that a kid will fancy and Law decided to get him.  While shopping around, Janelle spotted the Baby G she like and she is into blue. No more pink or purple for her. It cost $103 at Mustafa but she said she wanted to consider again thus we left Mustafa with happy Julian.  I wanted to visit some of the watch shops at Bugis area to compare the price. We went a few and some are either higher than Mustafa or...

After 3 months of healthy and control calories meals, it is hard to get rid of certain healthy that was developed over the 3 months.  I always though I must take photo of before and after my meal. I always though I must be careful with the food I chose when I eat out.  I will be very conscious of the breakfast I take everyday. Then I realise I dun have to do that anymore but it was a good habit to develop. Now I will tell myself to try prepare my own meal for my lunch even during working day. This is one of the dish that I make for my own lunch. When is inside?  Half a tube of toufu 2 inches of carrot slices 1/2 cucumber that I remove the skin and the seed 2 tsp of dried fish powder 1 tsp of fish stock powder 1/2 bowl of white rice  Hot water. 2 tsp of oil How I cook?  I have a very powerful half height fridge in my office and due to that I have to cook my soup twice to ensure all my vegetable and soup are pipping ...

Yippy! We finally got our air tickets. It was such a heart dropping moment of 30 min after we decided on the date, time and the airline for our year end holiday. I was so scared that I couldnt get the tickets on the same schedule for 3 families with a total of 6 adults and 6 children. There are so many things to do for the trips and thanks to Lilian who did most of the planning. I only helps to book the air-ticket since ANZ having good discount for card member and the hotel accommodation in Taipei. This is Law and kids 1st trip to Taiwan and I requested my main organizer to let me have more time in Taipei. While doing the planning for the trip, we heard news of Kaohsing(KS) very unfortunate accident happened in the city and it was our 1st stop in Taiwan. There are many worries and discussion going around among us, if we should go ahead or change to another state but inevitably KS is really a very convenient state to move around with their in state MRT, rail station and good transport...

Do you like car?? 我家老爷喜欢 and we are cultivating the kids to get ready for our next car. Got invited to the BMW World 2014. Brought the kids along since their entry is FOC. The kids get to test out the motor bicycle.  All has the stylo-milo looks. It was a very interesting show case of the car under BMW and the car interior was really nice. Talking about having LV doing the car interior for you. Shiok!!! 

There are many good review on this product. Herbal and safe so I decided to try.  Read and heard so much about this korean lady. With discount, i decided to try out one of her book.
