After the happy moment, the next is which school to pick now. We missed some of the school open house a week earlier but luckily we didnt miss the one Janelle is targeting. We actually drove into the empty school a week earlier.  The school has lecture hall, conference hall, all the halls and buildings and we got a bit blurred.  It was a big WOW to us. The compound is so huge and there is a pool in the school, a big pools full of fishes and turtle swimming care freely. I fell in love of the school immediately, just the environment. What make my daughter wanted to chose this school so much without even visiting the school??  There were students bringing us around, i wasnt totally impressed but it was a great effort. Some of the exhibit was quite good. Some of the lower sec students able to explain well.  At the end of the tour, the kids get to change for a sovenier from the school. 

Ok, today is my bond day. After 2 weeks of rest after the extraction I have recovered well for my braces installation. I took a photo of me of 40yrs, and my transformation after 12months.  Will my look scare my baby?

I'm dun know if other parents feel the same as me. When the date of the PSLE result release was announced I started to get panic and I didnt know why. Same goes to Janelle, in my mind I keep having two scenes, one that she scored well, the other seeing her appointed face. What do I have to do? What must I said to her? At 1st I didn't have the plan to go to school with her although she asked. Why didn't I get the hint from my own daughter? Be it good or bad she just wanted me to be there for her. Why am I so dumb to realise that? I am still so stupid to ask if she really wanted me to be there. Why am I so dumb again to ask such a question? Of course she wants me to be around and my stupid question triggered a reply from her that it was ok I couldn't make it, she end up saying " mummy dun need to come lah." Have being eating and feasting too much recently. Feasting with friends, with Law and with kids. OMG, and the festival coming. 

My boys are so adorable. It was a blessing that they have each other to grow up with.  Dressed Skyler up for a gathering on Saturday and father in law commented that he looked so retro in this. Tight polo top and a strip thighs. Simple dinner end up like a feast especially eating with kids. The squid was the best we had that night, fresh, thick, well flavoured and not over-cooked. 

We had our Nov birthday gathering at Brezin . It was a German restaurant at Valley point at River Valley area that selling sauages, pork knuckle and pretzel. The sausages, pork knuckle and the sauerkraut taste so much delicious comparing to Brotzeit. We have eaten at Brotzeit many times and we always thought the sauerkraut taste sour but after having it at Brezin we have another thought of it. We ordered the Brezn Platte which you can see on the photos. It was all about meat and meat to share with the kids. They usually have pasta but this restaurant doesnt really served any decent one. Since I dun take beef anymore, I requested the assistant to help us change the beef sausages to something else and we realised there isnt any cheese sausages so I requested if they can help us to change to cheese sausages since the kids like it.  They are very kind, because cheese sausages was only served during lunch but they do the exchange for us. I have decided to bless the piano to other who need it and I manage to get it a new owner. The old piano was with us for a good 7 years. A kind family who kids just started learning piano and I told her to take it from me. The space will be replaced with a table to start my new project. 

There is one Japanses provision style store at Marina Square that can be checked out. They selling many snacks, tibits that is orginated from Japan. It not only selling snacks but also seasoning as well and the seasoning selection excite me alot. I get to notice that the boss is a Japanese, when I asked him about mochi mix he is trying his best to look up the store if he has the ingredient I need.  I bought this cereal for the kids. It taste great, the shop assistant then recommended me to try the Calbee cereal too. I havent get to try that Calbee one. I also got myself a sardine powder for seasoning. 

We wanted to celebrate a colleague birthday with him, giving him a vegetarian treat as he is a vegetarian but he was on half day leave so the celebration is done today. Instead of us treating him, he brought us to a vegetarian restaurant at Chinatown food street. The restaurant is called Ci Yan, it was a simple family restaurant that doesnt have much dishes unless what we used to go.  My other colleagues ordered the brown rice set while I took the soba salad. It was actually very appetizing meal, I love my soba salad that is sauce with seasame and some deep fried mushroom. We were encouraged by our birthday boy to order the soup and it was no regret because the soup taste so nice. Recommended by a friend to try this. I bought because I can mixed a small portion into Skyler milk and daily consumption for adult is only 1 tsp mixed in honey drink. 

Came home and saw this cute little art work from Janelle. It was so cute and artistic to me but we are trying to figure out what we can do to it. 

Sometime one need to open up to meet more friends. The world is so huge and there are so many people to meet. I went to meet some new made friends from a chat group. I wasnt a very regular on their meet up so there were many stories or gossips that I missed. It was a good time that I was not doing the talking and just listened to the juicy stories.  During this meet up I got to know 2 more new friends.  The girls were so nice, they did one gathering before I went for my wisdom tooth extraction and they did one after my extraction.  I got to know 2 more new friends during this meet up.  One of the new friends was so nice to buy each of us a box of cakes. 

Ikea is always a nice place for an active baby to explore. We were surprised it was not crowded on the Saturday morning. Where are the crowd? 

Marvel STATION, that is where we wanted to bring the kids to. We have told the kids about it for sometime and we finally make it to Science Center.  The family tickets cost $68 for 2 adults and 2 kids and baby enter FREE. Before entering the STATION, the guide will get you to download an APP, on your WIFI, GPS and bluetooth. Make sure your phone battery is full for the activities.  The 1st station is the Captain American, there are many information feeding u and you have quizzes to answer on the apps. The noisest station is the HULK. Everything is in green and it keep shouting all the time. Skyler was hugging to me so tightly throughout and he was so brave because no crying from him.  Then the Alien station, more information on Asgard.  Iron Man station is the most interesting as there are some 4D games to play. After the success of growing cactus from seed it gave us so much hope to continue to grow more. I went to world farm to get my planting materials, new pots, new soil, new seed too. I even got a hibiscus plant back.  Just 3 days after we planted the seed, my basil had sprout and thats excite us further. So I asked Janelle to plant the long bean seeds from my uncle farm.  Just another day and my basil is growing even better. Life is so amazing.  Then I spotted my tomatoes seed is sprouting too and I can see roots on my chilli pot! 

I have so much time resting at home so I can play in my kitchen. 1st I baked a banana cake. It was rising so well but it collapse but the flavour is so good. Then I steamed a white sugar cake. Good flavour but the center part is so hard so failed.  Lastly I baked his honeycomb cake which I failed so many times and manage to success this time. 

Dun know where did I find the courage to go ahead with braces. Money spent on pain for months to see beauty. Just like having plastic surgery. My dear friend Jenn is a great help and encourage me so much during my difficult time. If not of her reassurance time to time I dun think I will go for it. Nothing she told me is untrue even recommend me this wonderful dentist for my braces and extraction. My wisdom tooth extraction was not as scary as I thought. The pain was quite minimum and the dentist was so caring. It took 30min to extract 3 wisdom teeth and i was hold to rest for 45min before they released me.

Lovely Meryl also turn 3th month on Popo birthday She is so cute, she loves to play rough, so is so unique. Haha...  She was such a cutie, laying there quietly while we enjoying our seafood. Only the stupid mummy kept complaining her nose is flat, she has no double eye lid, why her eyes so small BUT we all still love her. 

Feeling consoling that Julian well after one round of scolding. Of course, credit went to my MIL who is helping us to monitor his daily work, doing all the nagging daily and when her nagging turn into deaf ears I will have to come in as an enforcement. Yes, money well spent and I am very grateful to the home tutor who has being helping Julian for these years.  He is not a quick learner and having short attention span making it worse. I appreciate teacher Lynn patience to help him through.  We are very surprised he scored well for his Science as he didnt really did so well during his tuition class but I have to say the paper is not as difficult, still we are happy for him. It definitely boost his confident and self-esteem so much.  We are actually happy he can score over 70 although the tuition teacher told me he would have able to scored 88 if not because of his careless mistake.
