Janelle's handmade chocolate cookies

Image
Since Janelle has started holiday, I thought it will be nice she do something useful then to keep swapping her phone. I texted her (in the same house, because I was making Skyler to nap) to suggest her to make some chocolate cookies instead. I rbr I sent her a link in Facebook that came with clear instructions and did not need to cream the butter. She picked up my cue and started gathered all the ingredients to make her 1st chocolate cookies. The recipe called for melted butter so she only need a balloon whisk for it. My kitchen is always ready for baking, flour, butter, sugar, chocolate, vanilla essense, baking powder etc etc.... Measuring and putting everything together. Chilling the dough and scooping out for baking Batch 1 going into the oven spa.  Hello cookies Look at the lava-ishing chocolate from the cookies.

What are dishes I love most while visiting Korea? 1. Handmade noodles 2. Ginseng chicken soup 3. Seasoned flower crab And I can't help thinking about the handmade noodles I had in Busan. Simple noodles, delicious soup.... Is comfort food to me. Here I decided to want to make my own handmade noodles today. I made my own dough for the noodles. Just 3 cups of plain flour, 1 cup of potatoes flour, salt, oil and 1n 1/2 cup water. Rbr to knead well. I let the dough to rest in the fridge for a few hours. Actually 30min is good enough. I also make dumplings. I got the dumplings skin from NTUC. I do not like the local yellow skin wanton skin so I bot a pack of Shanghai dumplings skin from NTUC. My noodles. So yummy. Soup base using ikan bills, garlic, onion, chicken bones. So simple and light. See that dash of mashed stuffs on top of the chicken? I dished out the garlic, mashed it and seasoned with salt, black pepper and sesame oil.  Zucchini actually goes well with s...

Great work to myself.

Infact it was a Motel but so high tech and spacious. A central remote controls light, Aircon, TV. They give moisturer and everything u can think of. We wondered around Nampo, BIFF and the fish market and was dragged into this sefood rest I just before we could step into the fish market. We settled our 1st dinner here. Delicious seafood pot, although is the most expansive meal in this trip but totally worth it. Fresh abalone.- is tasteless. That is why I dun fancy canned abalone too. After 1 and a half month of planning and many useful tips from friends and colleagues I have a good travel plan to Seoul and Busan.  We bought a airticket which required transit at BKK and this save us quite a far bit of money.
