Back to childcare
How would we know we will have to revisit the same childcare again after so many many years? The kids felt they were back home when they reached the center. Same teacher, same principal, same familiar smell and classrooms. Imagine how many kids the center have nurture over the years. Skyler was so happy running around when we brot him for registration. Hopefully, he will get use to the environment next week.
Durian durian
Durian season is back again. Im not a big durian fan but I do have carving sometime. Durian is not as expansive as last year. I asked Law to dropby a stall at Geylang lor 36 to get some durians. 3 for $20 and all red meat. Infact, not bad but only me and Law eating.
Sunday Dinner
I got a herbal soup bag from supermarket and the promoter asked me to try adding into lotus root soup. Gaming to try something different so I told myself I must cook on Sunday. Law and Julian wanted some braised so I bot a bag of mid wing to cook with angchao. I added the bamboo shoots too. Julian wanted fish, although I offered him to try fried fish but he prefer steam fish and he wanted the sour steamed fish in Thais style.
Mookataing at Cosford
Birthday celebration starts in March, usually Joe will kick start the celebration month of the year. We will usually asked the birthday boy where he wanted to have his birthday gathering and this year he brought us to Villa Thai that is at Cosford Road. Julian was having his Science class so I asked Janelle if she wanna joined me as I will be bring Skyler with me. We took a Grab as I know the venue is a bit ulu but didnt know it was so out of the way. However, they have their crowd and there was a live band with good singer although it was a bit loud but it never really bother Skyler. Oh the best is the restaurant has a run way view of Changi Airport. It is just beside the run way. The big wall painting meeting us at the entrance. We are placed at a table with the airplane view. The table is like the body of scaly dragon or snake. This is where the live band will be. The gang ordered the volcano mookata, the pot is so interesting. of course still no joke sitting near ...
