A Ratatouille Year
It is really a busy start for the RAT year. I didnt even have the time to deco my place.
Luckily Janelle is a great helper and see she helping me to deco the plant. Of course, Julian is a little joy ard.

After freshing the kids up, they are all ready to head down to great granny place which is a traditional in Law's family to pay the nice old lady a visit on the 1st day of lunar new year and also a get together time with the cousins. Law's cousins and Janelle and Julian cousins.

My sister invited us to her place on the 2nd day of lunar new year. This was the 1st time she prepared popiah for us, althot not to my mum's standard but was a good attempt. However, the rest of the food are all ready fried food. Which was quite stressful to our throat and weight.

Luckily, her MIL prepared a very healthy vegetrian Luo Hei for all of us. (Her MIL is a vegetrian) Wow, I was amazed the different variety of vegetable she prepared for it. She even scrap out the coconut flesh as a replacement for the "raw fish". This Luo Hei was the healthiest, freshing and delicious I have ever tried and it was the biggest plate of Luo Hei I ever had. hee hee.....

On the 3rd day, Maggie, Vivian and Jasmine came over to my place and we later proceed to Maggie's place. Maggie has 2 cats and the kids simply loved chasing after them and I hope the cats were not terrorised by the kids. With such close encountered experience, Julian was ever bolder now. He will dashed towards a stray cat whenever he spotted one. I have to hold on to him everytime. In addition, I heard him answered the cat, "ca", "meow" and "mi".
We then rushed our way down to Jonathon and Lydia place. This was the 1st time visiting they place. It is a condo style semi-de at Yishun.
We left after a while as we felt quite out of the place as their relatives and frds streaming in. We head down to AMK hub for an early dinner at New York New York and poor Julian knocked his head onto the edge of the table and got a big bump. Luckily it went off after we applied Zambak.
Law's cousin invited us to their place on the 4th day of CNY. It had became part of the visiting place since 2003. Infact, his aunt is a great cook and she makes very nice prawn paste chicken every year. She was so inovative and created some yummy finger food that went very well with rice and steamboat.
We decided to end the visiting early and head home to let the kids have their nap. Past 3 days was too "stressful" for them and for us as well. Missing naps were really not a good idea for Julian. He got too hard to handle and too much CNY snacks make Janelle a bit hyper as well.
Furthermore, Julian running nose still linger ard and Janelle phlegm cough doesnt seem to get any better after PD Sim medicine. I may have to bring Janelle to see Sinseh Tan for a change.
We head down to Ikea to get some small furniture and storage for our place.
