Culture outing with Janelle

Company cheapo event since sporeans go free by showing our NRIC and with NTUC card you get to access to the special British exhibit too.  Seriously it was very boring.

However, Janelle is quite a good companion when come to such boring places. At least with her, we get to enjoy the boring actifacts more. 

We are excited about this Treasures of the World but we walked out quite disappointed. Thanks SK2 for taking the photo for me. Look like I must stand this way so I looked slimmer!

And my dear son have predicted it and decided not to follow us. While Janelle can still endure the boredness, we actually able to look through the exhibit longer and more thoroughly. Anyway, it was raining heavily and I didn't have an umbrella so just killed time in the shelter waiting for the rain to go away. 

We then went to somerset area to look for food, it was cleared what Janelle wanted to eat although at 1st she wanted to go accordingly to my selection to have pasta. I guessed I have more serving of protein n fiber than having pasta. 

We were so full so I suggested shopping. So many shops on discount, I saw some top and dress I like at Forever21 but the queue for paying made me decided to put my clothes back. However, I managed to get myself a pair of new shoes at Charles & Keith and Xmas exchange present at Toyku Hand! 

Of course a wonderful shopping day with Janelle.

Busy and happy Sunday

 It was a busy Sunday with celebration. 1stly we attending Amelia One year old birthday ceclebration.  BIL invited a magician to perform for the kids. The magician brought along a buddy for the kids to pat after the show. We are supposed to come for birthday dinner much earlier because Janelle insert her Korea trip last min and daddy have to change the timing. Luckily we still able to get seat on 23 Jul.  They have an order your pasta counter where they cook the pasta on the spot. Lobster is not really our favourite and it was quite true because the meat was not sweet and a bit tougher than poached prawn. Skyler like the pasta but not the lobster so we share the lobster instead but we only share the half lobster after that none of us wanna waste our tummy space for it.  The dessert table are full of beautiful dessert.  We finally remember to get someone to take a family shot for us. My 1st 10km - Army Half Marathon

I always dream to go for it but I hate running/jogging. I dun have the stamina to do even a 1km run. How to go for 10km? I must be crazy! Yes, 48 now and I dun start having crazy thought and things I will never get to do it. The begining of the run was because a colleague who hardly exercise said he will join so people like me of same category also signed up to support him. Furthermore, he will be walking and not jogging, which is same as me. WALKING. We started late because we waiting for you and me. Starts around 7am, the race for 10km run started at 6.30am Feeling shiok because you only got to walk like a big "boss" in the middle of the road as if you own it at this moment.
