Eating French with Janelle at Savuer

I wanted to bring Janelle for a good meal for doing well in her PSLE so I asked her if she wanted to try French food for a change. We headed Savuer at Far East Plaza as we will be going shopping at Orchard after meal. There is a set lunch offer and we ordered the set lunch each. I have the duck confetti will Janelle took the chicken leg and pasta. I ordered the angel hair pasta, onion soup, foie gras and the salmon from the appetizer list. 
The mushroom soup from the lunch set menu and it was great, the onion soup was not as what I expected. I like the salmon but it was raw so Janelle didnt really enjoy it. She loves the foie gras, she said it taste better than the pig liver or chicken liver. She has an expansive taste bud!

I love their duck confetti and the smooth silky mashed potatoes. Even Janelle commented that was the best mashed she has ever tasted. Janelle find her chicken leg a bit plain and may be she was half full and she didnt really enjoy her main course that much.

Busy and happy Sunday

 It was a busy Sunday with celebration. 1stly we attending Amelia One year old birthday ceclebration.  BIL invited a magician to perform for the kids. The magician brought along a buddy for the kids to pat after the show. We are supposed to come for birthday dinner much earlier because Janelle insert her Korea trip last min and daddy have to change the timing. Luckily we still able to get seat on 23 Jul.  They have an order your pasta counter where they cook the pasta on the spot. Lobster is not really our favourite and it was quite true because the meat was not sweet and a bit tougher than poached prawn. Skyler like the pasta but not the lobster so we share the lobster instead but we only share the half lobster after that none of us wanna waste our tummy space for it.  The dessert table are full of beautiful dessert.  We finally remember to get someone to take a family shot for us. My 1st 10km - Army Half Marathon

I always dream to go for it but I hate running/jogging. I dun have the stamina to do even a 1km run. How to go for 10km? I must be crazy! Yes, 48 now and I dun start having crazy thought and things I will never get to do it. The begining of the run was because a colleague who hardly exercise said he will join so people like me of same category also signed up to support him. Furthermore, he will be walking and not jogging, which is same as me. WALKING. We started late because we waiting for you and me. Starts around 7am, the race for 10km run started at 6.30am Feeling shiok because you only got to walk like a big "boss" in the middle of the road as if you own it at this moment.
