This is really CNY! I hear "dong dong dong chiang" almost every morning now! Isnt this great? I love the lion troupe very much! They are so colorful and vibrant and it really brings out the festive mood. Daddy says today is his turn to show off the "butterfly" top that he got me from Hong Kong. Of course, must goes with the levis jean that mummy get me from hollang village. See how i look?? OK today we are going to see my "Tai Mah". She is Yee Yee's mummy! She doesnt live with Yee yee but with another Shu Gong that i never meet. Is a very short visit, more like hi and bye and we proceed to chicken Rice Er Shu gong hse. This is not my 1st time to Er su gong's place there but i can hardly recall the place. The 1st thing that catch my eyes is the mahjung tiles laying on the MJ table. Everyone suppose to do the right things, says the right words and children are not suppose to cry and misbehalf. (if i can make it) Daddy told me the previous nite that we are going to Tai Po house this afternoon and there will be alot of people there. Mummy wake up pretty early to cook my porriage cos she predict I would be eating anything proper once i am there. Everyone dress up! Daddy wants me to wear the butterfly top he got from Hong Kong. However mummy feels that I should wear something red to mark the 1st day of the new year. Daddy feels otherwise, he says I have already wore the dress for my Bday but he cant stand mummy nagging so have to give in. Anyway, mummy give me a new hairstyle this time. Check this out. Mummy and Nai Nai was so busy "collecting" food from market the last few days so no one will starve during CNY. hahaha.. This yr, the eve lands on 28 Jan which is a Saturday. No one suppose to work, at least for daddy and mummy. Gosh... daddy and mummy are busy. Daddy busier! cleaning up the place cos the adults says no sweeping and mopping of floor on the 1st 3 days of CNY. Mummy? She is busy stopping me from coming down to walk cos daddy is mopping the floor! Since we already had REUNION dinner with nai nai and yee yee (rbr the meaning of reunion dinner? Cannot! Check my previous posting lah!) We will be dining with Po po, xiao yee and ah gu! Popo prepares fish, abolone, vege, prawn, fish ball and meat ball! Mummy says she doesnt prepare the traditional spicy sweet and sour fish maw. Everyone seems to miss this dish very much. Well, Po po is sick, she is down with sore throat and promise will cook once she is better.

Do we look alike? Uncle Mok says daddy's sperm fails him and mummy's DNA have overpower it cos i look more like mummy. Luckily not every part cos i have eyes of daddy!

Mummy says this is my 3rd having my CNY! 1st time i was still a newborn and not suppose to go out, 2nd time i was already 1 and also my 1st time going ard collecting ang pao. This yr is my 3rd! I am going to doll myself for this 15 days ocassion! Chinese believe the coming of the new year is new begining of the lunar new year. In places like china where spring marks the new year but singapore is forever "Summer" sometime a bit like spring with some raining days. So we can only follow the calendar to remain us of the coming "SPRING". There is so much preparation needed for this coming festival. Everyone is busy acquiring new clothes, shoes, food stuffs and getting a new look. Mummy says some pple can go to the extend change everything at home, that family must be supper rich. However, mummy still gets me new clothes and shoes. I think i have 5 sets of new clothes to pull me thru new year. Mummy and daddy got a few but they dun really bothers much... She says I am mor...

Today i know why we need our teeth, to feast! There are so many dinners coming along when the Chinese New Year is just round the corner! Nai nai & Yee Yee brought me to another Reunion dinner with Tai po and Er Shu gong and Si shu Gong family. Food n food n food and everyone seem to eat none stop! No wonder mummy insisted that i brush my teeth everyday to keep them shining. Of course, the adults will also like to tease me or ask me to sing them a song! They forgotten that Nai nai can sing better than me! Si Jiu po even ask me to make funny faces! Well, i demo my Barnee 3 famous expression. MAD, HAPPY & SAD and they said i look like mummy!

Mummy says daddy and me are two lazy bugs still hiding under the blanket! Both of us wake up at 10am!! hee hee.... We have a very late breakfast! the adults call it "brunch". Mummy says she saves her tummy for the chicken rice later. Chicken rice! Yah.... ErJiu gong stall is opening today and we are suppose to go down to give him our support! That is to get a free lunch! The lunch will consider of a big plate of chicken and BBQ pork. I have to say Er jiu gong chicken rice is one of my favourite. After that i KO till 5pm............................ for next rd! Nai Nai says we are having reunion dinner today! What is that??? Reunion dinner is getting everyone in the having together and have a feast to celebrate the harvest for the yr! Mummy says this dinner are suppose to be held on the last day of the year but nai nai bring forward cos she wants us to have the freshest food for reunion dinner. Yee yee is a very troublesome eater so steamboat will suit him best! WE have prawn,...

*Yawn* It is a routine that i have to wake up early on satursday for my Singing class. Dad find it unnecessary but mummy and Nai Nai think otherwise. They think they shld support my "interest"! Mummy is so lousy she still cant rbr all my classmate name after attending 11 lessons! I think she need to "spring cleaning" her brain at least twice a yr! Too much rubbish! As usual that Hai Dei Jie jie is late to open the door again and i always met my classmates at the door. Liu and Wu Lao Shi are early..... mummy says I need to come early to interact with my friends and teachers.... well, i really need some warm up!!.. Well, i have to admit that I stop listen to the songs for the lessons. I switch to BARNEY but i still have them in my memory.. that mean my brain works better than mummy.. hahaha.. I can follow all the actions and finish the songs. Liu Lao shi find me amazing!!!!!! Not many of my classmate can do it and i always activitly participate in the class... heh mum...

Rain Rain goes away come again some other day! Janelle and Mummy wanna go gai gai!!!! Haiyo raining dog and cat for the past two days. Mummy said so boring, daddy not ard and we are stuck at home no where to go. BUT daddy is coming back today so we are going to fetch daddy back in the evening. Guess wat! Shu shu is more familiaries with Daddy's car now. So he will be driving us to Airport with my favourite Sarbina Jie jie along. Gosh, Airport is really cold! Daddy flew to Hong Kong on Friday morning. That left mummy and me during the weekend. It was not the 1st time but this time daddy went overseato enjoy himself instead of work. Good life! Gosh, I kinda of miss the presence of daddy and i tend to lookfor him in the mid of the nite and early morning.S ubconsquently i thot daddy was ard. Yee Yee and Nai Nai sent me to my singing lesson since our"driver" was oversea. Mummy said we going to see Aunty vivien after my class. This place hospital was HUGE! So many pple, just like we going to SUntec City. I saw many pple crowded in the room and realised there were two babies ard. Kor Kor Jesse was extremely warmed to me that afternoon. His sudden hugged made me jumped on the spot! *bawl* Mummy had to take me out of the room so i wun woke the babies.. *bawl*

Its time to sing Happy Bday once again! I am always happy when i see cakes and demand mummy to place a candle for me to blow. However this time is really meant for ME! My bday is brought forward cos daddy got to fly to Hong Kong this coming friday and only back on Sunday nites which is also my bday. Mummy said we would not have enough time to celebrate my 2nd bday so it was brought all the way forward to 1 Jan. Which is the 1st day of the NEW YEAR! I had survived for 2 years, sound so pathetic! Hahaha... Well my new found favourite is BARNEY the PURPLE DINO but mummy said Dino Barnee is too ugly. She asked me if Big Bird ok? Well, OK lor.. u paid for the cake mah! Mummy got a shocked that the cake she ordered doesnt turn out to be the one she wanted. She was disappointed. Aunty Gen felt so guilty that the cake doesnt turn out wat mummy wanted.
