My Sunday

If I could sleep and wake up later on weekends but this does not happen to me. I wanted to get some ingredient from Tekka but too lazy to travel by train so I asked Law to accompany me for market. Julian woke up in time to join us but Janelle chose to continue sleeping at home. 

After maketing at Tekka Market we proceed to Sheng Siong opposite the street, there is always so much to get at Sheng Siong. It is always nice to have Julian's company, he is always helpful and playful. 


We had laksa for the yesterday since there was fish available to make it. 


As I promised the kids to bring them to singing session. Singing at Teo Heng KTV is cheap. The attendances are very polite and nice. The room is small but clean, the system is computerize but we are not to use to it, sound is quite ok and the price is even better. I booked a small room for $14 an hour due to peak hour rate so I only paid $28 for 2 hours. They selling canned drink for $1 each and some snacks if we wanted to order more. You can bring your own drink and food into the room so there is alot of saving and no worries about GST. 

Julian quite enjoyed the singing session, he sang a few songs with me but Janelle was too shy to open her mouth to try. In the end, I was the one singing happily in the room. Julian said he will want to come again but he couldnt sing as many songs as me. 妈咪有炼过的！

Busy and happy Sunday

 It was a busy Sunday with celebration. 1stly we attending Amelia One year old birthday ceclebration.  BIL invited a magician to perform for the kids. The magician brought along a buddy for the kids to pat after the show. We are supposed to come for birthday dinner much earlier because Janelle insert her Korea trip last min and daddy have to change the timing. Luckily we still able to get seat on 23 Jul.  They have an order your pasta counter where they cook the pasta on the spot. Lobster is not really our favourite and it was quite true because the meat was not sweet and a bit tougher than poached prawn. Skyler like the pasta but not the lobster so we share the lobster instead but we only share the half lobster after that none of us wanna waste our tummy space for it.  The dessert table are full of beautiful dessert.  We finally remember to get someone to take a family shot for us. My 1st 10km - Army Half Marathon

I always dream to go for it but I hate running/jogging. I dun have the stamina to do even a 1km run. How to go for 10km? I must be crazy! Yes, 48 now and I dun start having crazy thought and things I will never get to do it. The begining of the run was because a colleague who hardly exercise said he will join so people like me of same category also signed up to support him. Furthermore, he will be walking and not jogging, which is same as me. WALKING. We started late because we waiting for you and me. Starts around 7am, the race for 10km run started at 6.30am Feeling shiok because you only got to walk like a big "boss" in the middle of the road as if you own it at this moment.
