Happy 20th Wedding Anniversary

Yes, we are off somwhere nearby for our Wedding Anniversary celebration. It is not too hard to guess where we are going. Yes, nearby Batam for some relax massage, makan and shopping. 
The ferry is very clean

Hubby arranged for a little surprise. This is so much the hotel can offer.
There is a nearby hawker, just next of the hotel. The hawker or food court is very big and airy but the food not really that great. Simply local food. 

Just opposite our hotel is the new Grand Batam Mall. Of course how can we missed out the A&W that Law was asking so much for when back home. Forget about the long queue in Singapore. There is no queue in Batam.

The fried chicken is still KFC better. Nice curly fries and Law issed the root beer float in a mug.

He booked a 3hr spa and massage for both of us. Seriously 3 hrs is a bit too long for me. I think I started to feel bored after 2hr hours.

I think the best meal is the Seafood meal at Harbour Bay area. We had steamed fresh prawn, steamed flower crabs, a soup, a plate of vegetable, fried sotong, a plate of mee goreng for SGD60. 

A very big restaurant.

I really wanted to try out the Tui Na at Batam so i went for foot massage again the next day while Law went for shopping. 

Finally, this must try fries in Batam before heading home. 
Could be due to the food we had at the hawker and Law wasnt feeling very well after that and he felt sick and MC for 2 days after reached home.

Busy and happy Sunday

 It was a busy Sunday with celebration. 1stly we attending Amelia One year old birthday ceclebration.  BIL invited a magician to perform for the kids. The magician brought along a buddy for the kids to pat after the show. We are supposed to come for birthday dinner much earlier because Janelle insert her Korea trip last min and daddy have to change the timing. Luckily we still able to get seat on 23 Jul.  They have an order your pasta counter where they cook the pasta on the spot. Lobster is not really our favourite and it was quite true because the meat was not sweet and a bit tougher than poached prawn. Skyler like the pasta but not the lobster so we share the lobster instead but we only share the half lobster after that none of us wanna waste our tummy space for it.  The dessert table are full of beautiful dessert.  We finally remember to get someone to take a family shot for us. My 1st 10km - Army Half Marathon

I always dream to go for it but I hate running/jogging. I dun have the stamina to do even a 1km run. How to go for 10km? I must be crazy! Yes, 48 now and I dun start having crazy thought and things I will never get to do it. The begining of the run was because a colleague who hardly exercise said he will join so people like me of same category also signed up to support him. Furthermore, he will be walking and not jogging, which is same as me. WALKING. We started late because we waiting for you and me. Starts around 7am, the race for 10km run started at 6.30am Feeling shiok because you only got to walk like a big "boss" in the middle of the road as if you own it at this moment.
