Just monday, I bot a pot of African violet when I went pass an old shop selling flowers. This old shop selling potted plants, it doesnt sell many varieties if plants but that African violet that I have looking for very long was there. I cant help myself but to get it back home. Today, I walked passed the same shop again and the owner is getting in more plants this time. I saw this Cyclamen plant, and it has a few varieties of Red, violet, pure white or white with a little dashing red at the end of the flower petal. I got the white with dashing red at the petal. The picture attached was not the one I got. I will take a picture of my plant once I got home. I just finished watching a show at the Discovery Home and Health. It was on human stories. This time the show was talking about how power DNA test was. 4 stories in the show that bring tears in my eyes and I couldnt help but trying to dry my eyes thru-out the show. 1st story - a young couple who has 2 sons. The hubby suspected that one or may be both of his son may not be his as his wife had a past relationship before that. Both of them decided to get the test for his son as he couldnt leave in doubts not knowing if they are his. We have finished setup the kid's room finally. The kids feel the room really belong to them now. Hopefully we made the right choice on the furniture. Infact, there was some hicups along the way. Anyway the biggest hicup was the aircon pipe constructed along the perimeter of the room. I dun think I can do much abt it which I have forsee after the aircon guy constructed it. I dun like it and I find it truely stupid but nothing much I can do. I can only blame ourselves for not planning the renovation well in the begining. "Mummy, teacher told us to bring healthy food." dear Janelle kept emphasising HEALTHY and I have to really crack my brain to see what I can buy or do to bring to school. I decided to make Jelly with fresh fruit topping for the kids to bring for the National Day celebration in school. Visited Phoon Huat to get the plastic cup with lid, so each kid get a cup and wun mess up the place. I went to get Honey dew, apple, red dragon fruit and champagne grape for the topping. Janelle helped me a little with the making of jelly as I want to keep the fruit fresh. I have to wake up as early as 5am to cut the fruit and pack them into each individual cup. Do u still remembers the National Day celebration songs that we used to sing during the primary school times? I used to love them but as we grew older we dun really practise and sang those songs anymore and as years goes by the numbers of celebration songs has accumulated. Now the childcare is teaching the kids to sing the songs. They are still as catchy as before and Janelle and Julian knew almost all the songs.
