 We planned our June trip to KL to attend Cousin Hao wedding dinner at Kajang (KL). I wanted to kids to travel shorter so I got them Airasia air ticket travelling with my Sis (Xian) to KL instead. She brought along 3 kids and 1 teen (coming to adulthood) my Jan. Law and I will then drive in to KL to fetch them from airport to hotel instead. We set off early, sending Julian to RP for his class then we head in JB. Luckily there is no jam and we used 1.5hr to clear both Singapore and Malaysia.  We had breakfast and head straight to KL, minimizing toilet breaks hoping to get into KL as early as possible. I was told that I needed to sign some paper for him. I searched through a piles of homework sheets and found 2 maths tropical practice paper done by Skyler. He scored 10/10 for both. One on Time and one on multiplication and division topic. I looked through the papers. I was very surprised the working he did on the sums. He truly demonstrated his understanding of the topic in a way I didn't even see Janelle and Julian did previously. I must said he learnt well and remarkable too. Out of sudden, I heard Skyler asking me.  "Are you proud of me, mummy?" It was very obvious he was referring to the full marks he got from the papers. I looked at him and beamed. My mother day gift is here.  Aching body go away. I can now message and watch my Netflix the same time.  Thanks hubby for pampering me with a massage chair. 

Yes, we are off somwhere nearby for our Wedding Anniversary celebration. It is not too hard to guess where we are going. Yes, nearby Batam for some relax massage, makan and shopping.  The ferry is very clean Hubby arranged for a little surprise. This is so much the hotel can offer. There is a nearby hawker, just next of the hotel. The hawker or food court is very big and airy but the food not really that great. Simply local food.  Just opposite our hotel is the new Grand Batam Mall. Of course how can we missed out the A&W that Law was asking so much for when back home. Forget about the long queue in Singapore. There is no queue in Batam. The fried chicken is still KFC better. Nice curly fries and Law issed the root beer float in a mug. I thought we just go testing the massage chair but end up Law decided to get one. We got the medical grade that has a smoother roller (3D roller) and good strength for our shoulders and neck massage.  Great service from Mr King from Zero showroom. 

I have craving of BBQ meat to goes with fresh leafy vegetables so I decided to do a mini version at home asking my sister family along. Made this rice dough for the kids. I am trying to avoid refine carb.  Try making corn dog. Not as easy as I thought but this look ok right.
