CC pace is accelerating... zoom zoom...

Starting 2010, Janelle will be in K2 and that mean I will be getting the stress in July period for Primary school enrolment. We really have made the right choice to chose a flat at Kallang area where there is a SAP school that I want the kids to enter. Since it is a SAP school that also mean alot of parents would also like to send their kids there too.

Luckily, my area is a small neighbourhood so I can only hope that I can enter the school using my 1km privilege.

From the starts of 2010, Janelle's CC has given out the spelling and 听写 list. The kids have to spell longer words and sentences for 听写. When I compared her list and others I realised the CC list was more difficult than other Pre-school. Some pre-school only started spelling and 听写 only in K2 but Janelle's CC already starting to train the kids in mid of K1. The principal ever told me they used to introduce spelling and 听写 at the beginning of K1 but many parents have some comments which they decided to only giving in mid K1.

Janelle definitely has not problem with all the challenges but I am afraid if Julian will have problem next yr which is something I must really look into - to build up his foundation.

Busy and happy Sunday

 It was a busy Sunday with celebration. 1stly we attending Amelia One year old birthday ceclebration.  BIL invited a magician to perform for the kids. The magician brought along a buddy for the kids to pat after the show. We are supposed to come for birthday dinner much earlier because Janelle insert her Korea trip last min and daddy have to change the timing. Luckily we still able to get seat on 23 Jul.  They have an order your pasta counter where they cook the pasta on the spot. Lobster is not really our favourite and it was quite true because the meat was not sweet and a bit tougher than poached prawn. Skyler like the pasta but not the lobster so we share the lobster instead but we only share the half lobster after that none of us wanna waste our tummy space for it.  The dessert table are full of beautiful dessert.  We finally remember to get someone to take a family shot for us. My 1st 10km - Army Half Marathon

I always dream to go for it but I hate running/jogging. I dun have the stamina to do even a 1km run. How to go for 10km? I must be crazy! Yes, 48 now and I dun start having crazy thought and things I will never get to do it. The begining of the run was because a colleague who hardly exercise said he will join so people like me of same category also signed up to support him. Furthermore, he will be walking and not jogging, which is same as me. WALKING. We started late because we waiting for you and me. Starts around 7am, the race for 10km run started at 6.30am Feeling shiok because you only got to walk like a big "boss" in the middle of the road as if you own it at this moment.
