Reunion Dinner with The Core

This year I suggest to try East Treasure Restaurant at Clark Quay. Very easy to find, just beside the taxis stand.



6 of us and we are given a corner from the big hall.


Their CNY dinner set but we chose to do ala carte.



Abalone lou hei instead of the normal raw fish. The sauce is tangy and not over sweet. All of us like it. Each of us get a mouth of the small abalone.



Hei Zuo - many of them find good, I didnt like it. Ordered 1 piece and luckily i only need to eat one.



Pig stomach, kampung chicken soup is superlicious. Soup is peppery but not over-powering, the taste of the pig stomach is not too strong, light yet not bland.



This is a yuan yang kind of hong fun, one is normal kway tiao and mixed with fried kway tiao as well.



"Green Dragon" vegetable is very popular now. I didnt find it extremely outstanding.



Fried Shun hock in soya sauce. They did the wrong fish earlier and we end up waited quite long before the next dishes came.




Fresh prawn deep fried. I love the buttery taste of the egg.



Red bean paste pancake as dessert. Not really outstanding or I was too full.

Overall is a good dinner, we like most of the dishes and the service was great! S0 much food plus some dessert that I didnt take photo off only cost us $300. Quite worth it.

Busy and happy Sunday

 It was a busy Sunday with celebration. 1stly we attending Amelia One year old birthday ceclebration.  BIL invited a magician to perform for the kids. The magician brought along a buddy for the kids to pat after the show. We are supposed to come for birthday dinner much earlier because Janelle insert her Korea trip last min and daddy have to change the timing. Luckily we still able to get seat on 23 Jul.  They have an order your pasta counter where they cook the pasta on the spot. Lobster is not really our favourite and it was quite true because the meat was not sweet and a bit tougher than poached prawn. Skyler like the pasta but not the lobster so we share the lobster instead but we only share the half lobster after that none of us wanna waste our tummy space for it.  The dessert table are full of beautiful dessert.  We finally remember to get someone to take a family shot for us. My 1st 10km - Army Half Marathon

I always dream to go for it but I hate running/jogging. I dun have the stamina to do even a 1km run. How to go for 10km? I must be crazy! Yes, 48 now and I dun start having crazy thought and things I will never get to do it. The begining of the run was because a colleague who hardly exercise said he will join so people like me of same category also signed up to support him. Furthermore, he will be walking and not jogging, which is same as me. WALKING. We started late because we waiting for you and me. Starts around 7am, the race for 10km run started at 6.30am Feeling shiok because you only got to walk like a big "boss" in the middle of the road as if you own it at this moment.
