Another week had past and a new begining of the week had arrived. Today, I planned to let Janelle take the school bus back to IL place n I just placed her with teacher and left the school. She need to get use to such protocol. It will gonna be the same for the next few yrs. As usual, she cried once she knew i was not going to stay long with her. I told her i needed to work and she could always look for Ms Leong if she need anything. We went to collect Janelle's cake from parkway, and was 15 min late as the celebration can only be done during their 9:30am tea-break session. However, the teabreak was 15 min late today so i still have some time to get everything prepare. The kids are excited when they saw the cake. They r so excited that they blow away the candle 3 times before Janelle can blow them. hahaha... 1kg of cake is really too much for the class. I told the teacher that i would leave the cake for them, asking them to help them with it. As usual, i left after the celebration, ...

We decided to hold a mini + mini bday celebration for Janelle. I guess she will love it, especially the candle blowing and her favourite jie jie and shu shu will be ard. We got her a Baby Bop cake from Prima Deli, especially added $5 for the truffle filling. I made Law to get her a helium Balloon from Parkway. I made some simple dishes for my guests. (who are my ILs, Mum, Sisters, BIL, Law's gd friends family and BIL's fiance) We got Janelle a bicycle for her bday. She loves it very much and I think i have more valid excuse to request Law to bring us to East Coast park to test "drive" the new bike.

Ok the last day of the week for Janelle. As usual she told me she was scared but i think that was just a plain excuse from not going to school. I need to be more hardhearted this time. I told the teacher i wun be staying this time. She said ok and told me that she will be in gd hand. I told Janelle that I will come and fetch her later. I just walked off and can expect wat was behind the scene. She probably crying very loudly but i think she need to be trained to "let go" and be more independent. I went to do my marketing as i need to prepare food for the coming bday celebrate next day. I asked Lawrence to follow me this time, so he knew where was Janelle's classroom. We peeked into the room and saw her playing and singing with the rest of the kids. I felt so relief. I asked the teacher how she behave after i left, she said she was doing well. It is a lousy start of the day. She started to cry soon after the other crying. She puke after intensive crying. I got to warn the teacher abt her "pattern". She cried for 1 hr today. I wasnt happy with her "performance" today. Look like the more she see me the worse she is getting. She only manage to stop after the tea-break. She didnt really eat her french toast. I guess she doesnt like it, she is never a bread person. I got to give her another "briefing" after school so she knew wat is my expectation of her the next day.

The BIG day is here. I think I am more anxious abt the 1st day of school than Janelle. My sister has being telling me to "prepare" Janelle by telling her abt wat she will be doing in school. I did, I have done all the mental preparation for her. It is up to her to accept the new environment and frds. I was so kam cheong that we left home at 8:10am. It only took us less than 10 min to reach the school. We are the 1st one to reach the school. Miss Leong is the chinese teacher that welcome us. She is very assuring and guide Janelle to her little "locker" and name card. Soon more n more parents bringing their kiddos in. I began to wonder why are all boys. It was later that the teacher told me only 2 little roses in the class. Oh.. Janelle's class is call "NEST". Janelle got upset by a crying tod and started to look for me althot i am just behind her. Cousin Ping gave me a call and told me she will be coming over to spore for a few days. A pleasant surprised, I have to call Xian to t-loan some mattress for them. Didnt really have time to bring them out as the two kids were still not feeling very well. I only manage to bring both of my cousins for a tim sum brunch and shopping at Suntec. Cousin Ping was very glad to collect all Janelle old clothes for her daughter. I am happy to depose the clothes to her. Uncle said she could come over here once a yr just to collect ger ger clothes from me. heee hee...

Haizzzz..... Julian must have caught the virus from Dr Sim clinic when we brot him for his 6 in 1 jab. He was sneezing and coughing all the way but not really serious. He was 8.4kg and 64 cm tall but he lose 100g when we brot his back to see Dr Sim. A day later, the virus "creep" up to Janelle and "implant" themselves on her. She started to cough and having running nose, the fever came climbing up the thermometer a little. I got to rush both kids to Dr Sim again before the xmas holiday. Dr Sim said Julian was ok, but he will give medi for Janelle. Luckily we on alert! Both kids recovered a little during the festival season but they are strictly confined at home. Partly is due to the weather, it has be raining heavily and continuation for days. It was cold and wet.
