Joining the Band

Sweetie Janelle appealed to opt out of her Multimedia CCA and joined School Band. What, Who, How arose her interest on music again? A big ?? to us but since it is her own choice I made her swear to me that she will be committed to it and do well.

Yesterday, she sneaky came to me and told me the instructment that will be playing.

A trombone. HUH? What is a trombone? My sister probably will know what was that cos she was from school band but I knew nut about music. She briefly describe to me and I guessed I know what was that. I queried about the choice of instrument assigned. Usually was the height and the shape of the mouth, thickness of the lips too.

Does it give u the OHHHHH... when you see this picture of trombone?
The Trombone belong to the base class instrument, I wonder how it will sound.

Busy and happy Sunday

 It was a busy Sunday with celebration. 1stly we attending Amelia One year old birthday ceclebration.  BIL invited a magician to perform for the kids. The magician brought along a buddy for the kids to pat after the show. We are supposed to come for birthday dinner much earlier because Janelle insert her Korea trip last min and daddy have to change the timing. Luckily we still able to get seat on 23 Jul.  They have an order your pasta counter where they cook the pasta on the spot. Lobster is not really our favourite and it was quite true because the meat was not sweet and a bit tougher than poached prawn. Skyler like the pasta but not the lobster so we share the lobster instead but we only share the half lobster after that none of us wanna waste our tummy space for it.  The dessert table are full of beautiful dessert.  We finally remember to get someone to take a family shot for us. My 1st 10km - Army Half Marathon

I always dream to go for it but I hate running/jogging. I dun have the stamina to do even a 1km run. How to go for 10km? I must be crazy! Yes, 48 now and I dun start having crazy thought and things I will never get to do it. The begining of the run was because a colleague who hardly exercise said he will join so people like me of same category also signed up to support him. Furthermore, he will be walking and not jogging, which is same as me. WALKING. We started late because we waiting for you and me. Starts around 7am, the race for 10km run started at 6.30am Feeling shiok because you only got to walk like a big "boss" in the middle of the road as if you own it at this moment.
