Grace at the dining table

Looking around for a nice grace to be said before meal. I came out a version for the family.

There is a buddism grace that I need to find out. It is not my or Law family practise to say grace before meal, to us it sound very christain and we quite reject it. However I was very wrong, infact all family should teach their kids to say grace before meal. As parents, we must instilled the graciousness in children so they will not take things for grated. Just saying thank you to people who help you is not enough. We must always thanks people who has indirectly help us in one way or another.

Let begin by saying a simple grace before meal to thanks whoever have to help and provide us directly and indirectly. Most importantly, our Mother Earth who nurture the earth to continue with Eco Cycle.

Thank you Mother Earth for nurturing the vegetable and animals.
For every grain of rice, vegetable and meat we are thankful for thousands of workers.
For every drop of rain we are thankful for Mother Earth’s blessings.
For every food on the table we are thankful for daddy hard work.
For every dish on table we are thankful of mummy cooking.
Thank you.
