Beside the holiday event, there is another event this thursday. Janelle's school concert. My dear girl will be performing a dance for her senior graduation concert. It is going to be held at the Tai Pei hall at 17:30hrs, so I have to leave office early that day to chop a good place to shoot her. Janelle will be doing Mexican dance and she is very excited about it. I have asked MIL to come along but not sure if she will be interested.

Finally! We have come to confirm a date for our trip. I was thinking if I should cancel my Childcare leave on 20Nov since we will not be departure that day but decided to keep it to pack our luggage. I encountered some problem when booking hotel. Purposely made an oversea call to the hotel to enquire as they didnt even bother to reply my mail. Did I write a very cheem mail? No? I was uncontactable that day, as I left my mobile at home. Luckily, Law was on MC and stayed at home. So happened that I have a migration to perform at the site with very lousy reception. When we reached grandma's place, she was already in the coffin, we standed beside and called her, telling her we were back. Xian was upset, she couldnt utter a word. The moment Janelle stepped into the house her explosion of excitement gave me a jump but was a jump of joy. Janelle: Mummy, I tell you something. Today I forget to bring my pencil box and I have no pencil and color pencil to use. Mum: Oh, yes I should have expected that cos I think u forgotten your case. Janelle: but you know what! I got 5 stars for my paper and no other has 5 stars like me. Mum: Really? How come? You mean u are the only person in the class that has 5 stars? Janelle: Yah. I got all my work right so I got my 5 stars. Mum: How about your friends? How do you get 5 stars? Janelle: Everything must be right and I don't have a single mistakes at all. I have never got sunburn before. NEVER EVER but it is no longer never anymore. My 1st sunburn this life was after bringing Jul ian for a swim at Tampines Swimming pool at 11am. Crazy? Yes, many may think I am crazy but I wasn't. Janelle was having her lesson and without other support (Law is one work duty this weekend) I have to jagar Julian myself and yet bringing Janelle for her lesson and I dun think my boy will be able to sit there for 1hr just to watch Jie jie having a cool splash in the pool. Luckily the kids were olright, looked like the swimming suit was still a better attired for the kids and not to forget the sunblock lotion. Finally I have to admit how important sunblock lotion was. Why? Cos I try to be a heroine and refused to put on sunblock when my precious daughter asked me abt it. She asked if I need it, gara me told her it was ok. I need a break. Yes a holiday and a getaway break. Afterall, year end is a more relaxing period of time with school holiday and xmas coming. What a good excuse but I really wanna go somewhere for a short break. Well, we have some plan now.... Hope we manage to get a good price for the hotel.... bless us.
