Holiday.... Here we come

Finally! We have come to confirm a date for our trip. I was thinking if I should cancel my Childcare leave on 20Nov since we will not be departure that day but decided to keep it to pack our luggage.

I encountered some problem when booking hotel. Purposely made an oversea call to the hotel to enquire as they didnt even bother to reply my mail. Did I write a very cheem mail? No? Simple English and I dun know how to write cheem mail too.

The person who I spoke to is of no help. I asked him the definition of DOUBLE DOUBLE Bed? He told me twin bed. I asked for the size and he couldnt describe to me, so I asked him if it was sufficient for an adult and a kid? He said no problem. I really hope he meant what he said.

So it was not a Queen size or a Super Single so what is Double Double bed? There are some funny term when it come to the bed size beside the King and Queen.

I was then told to do my booking online as there is promotion going on. I need to do a separate booking for weekends and weekday. While trying to go back to the website for my weekday booking, the website went down.

Fortunately, I manage to confirm my hotel booking. Time to look forward for the short holiday. It is going to be eat, play, shop days!

Double Bed is slightly smaller than a Queen size bed, slightly wider than a Super Single. Sort of an in between Queen and Super Single. No problem to fit one adult and one kid.

So where are you going to this time?

Busy and happy Sunday

 It was a busy Sunday with celebration. 1stly we attending Amelia One year old birthday ceclebration.  BIL invited a magician to perform for the kids. The magician brought along a buddy for the kids to pat after the show. We are supposed to come for birthday dinner much earlier because Janelle insert her Korea trip last min and daddy have to change the timing. Luckily we still able to get seat on 23 Jul.  They have an order your pasta counter where they cook the pasta on the spot. Lobster is not really our favourite and it was quite true because the meat was not sweet and a bit tougher than poached prawn. Skyler like the pasta but not the lobster so we share the lobster instead but we only share the half lobster after that none of us wanna waste our tummy space for it.  The dessert table are full of beautiful dessert.  We finally remember to get someone to take a family shot for us. My 1st 10km - Army Half Marathon

I always dream to go for it but I hate running/jogging. I dun have the stamina to do even a 1km run. How to go for 10km? I must be crazy! Yes, 48 now and I dun start having crazy thought and things I will never get to do it. The begining of the run was because a colleague who hardly exercise said he will join so people like me of same category also signed up to support him. Furthermore, he will be walking and not jogging, which is same as me. WALKING. We started late because we waiting for you and me. Starts around 7am, the race for 10km run started at 6.30am Feeling shiok because you only got to walk like a big "boss" in the middle of the road as if you own it at this moment.
