Since Law is drinking wolf berry drink for health purpose I decided to get the Ningxia wolfberry to let him try. Delivery was fast and only took 3 days to reach me. 30 ml a day, once open have to consume within 30 days. I went to take a sip and it taste a bit sour sweet. Was thinking to let the kids drink every morning too. Hopefully we will see good result in Law.

Mum and sisters though I only prepared some side dishes for the porridge dinner but didn't expect I prepared so many dishes. I told them it was teochew porridge night so much have different varieties then shiok. 

This is weird and I never had such great craving for durian before but I just wanna eat durian for this pregnancy and I know I must control. Durian has high level of sugar that can make me increase kgs unknowingly. It is also easily to fall sick taking too much on hot and humid weather like this but but but because of the dry season that is why durian harvest is so good and the quality too.  I dun know anything about choosing durian and I dun know how to appreciate good durian. I only like anything that is creamy and sweet. So I better get some expert to help. Must thanks Kelvin and Lilian for placing order with their BIL who is selling durians. We ordered 4 different types to try and beat in mind to only eat Mao Shan Wang the last.  We got XO, red prawn, D101 and MSW for our feast. We have them in sequence after our teochew porridge. Family time with the kids at USS again. It will be our family last outing before the school start. Happy Julian, we had our Minions show before we head down to Sentosa. Trying to make use all the time we had to maximize the fun. Seen many staffs queuing up at the entrance. We were there to wait for my mum, my sisters, niece, nephew and daddy to come. 

It is always nice to know that people still love you by their little gesture. I have durian craving for no reason and I am not a big fan for durian. However still thanks my in law for getting the durian for me. Two small packs but that is good enough, somemore the durian is the sweet bitter kind. More sweet and less bitterness. What I like.  Greatest person on earth is always parents. My mum passed me a box of her homemade mango pickle and not too sweet and not too sour. Nothing beat the fresh homemade pickle. Egg noodles from Sitiawan Perak. Yes, we cannot return to Sitiawan to taste all the delicious street food and the only way was to cook myself. There are some ingredients that is just not as good as the old town so mum brought back the egg noodles from Sitiawan for me to make "Ka lao mee" or Sitiawan Lou Mee. The family seemed to have a craze for shabu shabu recently but not me. I couldnt take that mumessch and too much meat is really not for me now. We went to a few shabu shabu restaurant and none of them really up to my standard. Either the meat not that good or I didnt like the mess of the self-help corner that piled with messy assorted vegetables. While searching for shabu shabu again, I read about On-Yasai. It was near our place, at OneKM which is just 5 min drive away from us and easier for us to bring the kids back to grandparent place after that. It was a buffet, I get to chose the normal buffet that only serve us pork and chicken or premium grade that have beef. I decided & promised to quit beef and I told Law about it so now he will avoid sharing any food that has beef in there. We reached the restaurant and got a very warm welcome from the staffs. We waited long enough for our vacation. We was intended to book another hotel for our staycation but after reading many reviews I decided since we are only going for staycation in June we should go for a better one. I think we made the right choice, DoubleTree Hilton was the best in JB so far. There are some mixed review but we are very lucky we were treated well during our stays. I guesses my big tummy sometime gave me alot of priviliages The kids was wowed but the see through bathroom. Sometime that they had for the 1st time. Luckily there is a shower curtain. It wasnt nice to sleep beside the glasses at night too.  We ordered a double bed deluxe but realised it was a Super single bed and not queen bed that we understood. So we have to squeeze with the kids,  I dint have a good sleep for the 2 nights.  Something about DoubleTree that all the guests praised. We dropped by JBCC, the new shopping mall next to the City Square. There was an Angry Bird playground with entrance fee apply. Luckily the kids didnt ask for it after they saw the price, we just went to take some pictures.  Many people favourite dessert but I didnt find it so great. Although it was mango season but I still taste sour mango so quite disappointed with it. Janelle seem to fall in love with mango recently and order one with mango, mango ice-cream.  We decided to explore 1 night market. However our GPS brought us to one quite far away from our hotel. A quick walk and we zoomed off, kids asking to go back hotel. San Lou Beehoon restaurant was supposed to be fmous for their panfired and crispy bee hoon. However we taste nothing of that, even Julian commented it wasnt nice. Disappointed as we have difficulty parking our car and still end up with such tasteless food. 4 weeks passed n it was time to meet baby again. Law couldn't accompany but the kids follow along to meet the little brother. Baby always seems to be in a weird position that is quite impossible for us to see him in a whole picture. Normal routine questions and check up procedures from gynae. I am pleased that baby gains weight very well. He is now 865g which is almost double from last weighed and I only gained 0.2kg.  While I am getting heavier, I also realized Jan and Jul have grown more sensible and understanding. They give pretty much attention to me and always help me out from time to time. May be knowing I am getting heavier and slower so they beginning to understand how tough for me to carry out heavy chores or even simple task like picking up items from floor. It June holiday and since there is no plan to spend our holiday elsewhere I wanted to spend more time with the kids. They have being quite hardworking doing revision at IL place and I think they should have a break at least at the end of the week as a small reward. The only movie that is suitable for the kids that week will be Jurassic World. I am not a big fan of dino at all but I guess the kids may like it. We head down to Plaza Singapura after fetching them from Tiong Bahru. We are early enough to get a good seat for the movie, there are also dino displays at Plaza Singapura too. Dino way too huge.  I cannot even have the whole dino into my len.  This is how the dino say "cheese" There are not many on display. Only two species. Usually June Birthday gathering is my turn to plan. The older I get, I found it is a big fuss to plan for gathering. It is hard to satisfy everyone requirement, location, budget and taste bud. Most of the time, I force it through because I do not have the luxury to keep searching for a makan place for a short time. I wanted to bring them to Saveur at Purvis Street which is their 1st branch and the price for their dishes are definitely cheaper but I could only get a table at 8pm so we decided to switch to Saveur Art which is more posh at Orchard. The downside is finding car park lot and the jam in the shopping district can be bad. After settling the kids with MIL, the girls came picked me up at 6:15pm. We didnt want to be late due to traffic jam but we are still near late because of the jam. It was a small restaurant in the middle floor of Ion. How do you train your kids to be street smart? Is there a course for them? No, at least that is what I know. Then when are your kids ready to face the world alone? At this context I don't mean to throw them out to survive on their own. How do you know your kids are ready to face the world alone without you around guiding him? Simple task like taking public transport on his own? How to gauge that the kid is ready for simple daily skill like this? In the 80s parents will laugh it off, how can the kids not know. We build and learn like a kampong kids. Most of us raise this way, there is no car fetching. Sometime, mother will only bring you once and twice and you have to do it yourself after that. How about the kids now? How many family owns a car? Many and not that owning a car is no good but we over ferry the kids in some way? Finally got us this. Which I have being thinking if I should get it.  Many function of the swaddle blanket.  Didn't realize out of the 4 pieces there is one that is plain.  It cost 79.90 and after promotion is 39.95 so I was convinced that I got a good deal. Hahaha
