Our weekend day out

We dropped by JBCC, the new shopping mall next to the City Square. There was an Angry Bird playground with entrance fee apply. Luckily the kids didnt ask for it after they saw the price, we just went to take some pictures. 

Many people favourite dessert but I didnt find it so great. Although it was mango season but I still taste sour mango so quite disappointed with it. Janelle seem to fall in love with mango recently and order one with mango, mango ice-cream. 
We decided to explore 1 night market. However our GPS brought us to one quite far away from our hotel. A quick walk and we zoomed off, kids asking to go back hotel.
San Lou Beehoon restaurant was supposed to be fmous for their panfired and crispy bee hoon. However we taste nothing of that, even Julian commented it wasnt nice. Disappointed as we have difficulty parking our car and still end up with such tasteless food. We saw many Singaporeans and families crowding into the restaurant. I wondered how many left as disappointed as us.

Busy and happy Sunday

 It was a busy Sunday with celebration. 1stly we attending Amelia One year old birthday ceclebration.  BIL invited a magician to perform for the kids. The magician brought along a buddy for the kids to pat after the show. We are supposed to come for birthday dinner much earlier because Janelle insert her Korea trip last min and daddy have to change the timing. Luckily we still able to get seat on 23 Jul.  They have an order your pasta counter where they cook the pasta on the spot. Lobster is not really our favourite and it was quite true because the meat was not sweet and a bit tougher than poached prawn. Skyler like the pasta but not the lobster so we share the lobster instead but we only share the half lobster after that none of us wanna waste our tummy space for it.  The dessert table are full of beautiful dessert.  We finally remember to get someone to take a family shot for us. My 1st 10km - Army Half Marathon

I always dream to go for it but I hate running/jogging. I dun have the stamina to do even a 1km run. How to go for 10km? I must be crazy! Yes, 48 now and I dun start having crazy thought and things I will never get to do it. The begining of the run was because a colleague who hardly exercise said he will join so people like me of same category also signed up to support him. Furthermore, he will be walking and not jogging, which is same as me. WALKING. We started late because we waiting for you and me. Starts around 7am, the race for 10km run started at 6.30am Feeling shiok because you only got to walk like a big "boss" in the middle of the road as if you own it at this moment.
