Jellio Jubilee Sky

Julian has being triggering me to open the ang bao, we are supposed to do but we end up forgetting about it. While I was at home clearing up some of the drawers, I decided to clear Skyler Ang bao 1st.  Look at the thickness and number of blessings Skyler got from relatives and friends. Thank  you so much. The ang bao money each year is around the same and they all have their own account to save their money. 

This is something I am suppose to learn much much earlier but I couldnt find a suitable container to ferment the rice so I keep dragging n dragging until I got myself a Eco pail but I still continue to drag.. hahaha. That day went to mum place and asking her for the ingredient to brew the ang chao. She passed the red rice and the sweet yeast. There is a simple formula to follow so I took what my mum gave him and started my ang chao.  Four simple ingredients I am using my ecoparadise pail to brew the wine. All the utencil has to use boiling water to water bath once.  I cooked the glutinous rice a day ahead and let it cool overnight to let it cool down completely. Dun asked me why not after 3 hrs because the old people believe they could not cool down completed after 3 hrs. So overnight cooling. I divided the rice into 4 portions and mixed it will with the sweet yeast, red rice and the glutinous rice. I put the 4 portions back into my ecoparadi...

Taking this photo to compare the size pf my steamer. Suddenly have the idea to steam all the dishes so purposely prepared those that can be steamed.  This is my 1st time trying steaming Chicken using the black fermented bean. Kids love it, Law asked where is the salty fish. I really wanted to put but I know they don't like so I skip and now they asking for the salty fish. Chey..

Not my 1st time watching his cpncert but is the kids 1st time. I didn't manage to get 3 seats together so the two kids sit together while I am alone.  We are nearly late as the dinner runs late. There are so many people having dinner at star vista and we didn't really enjoy oir dinner well.  It was full house once again

Father in law Birthday and we had lunch at Ah Orh restaurant again. Mother in law ordered 10 dishes and we finished all of them. Here is 爷爷  and grandchildren. Family photos. 

Seriously, he loves his own selfie. I was taking selfie with him and he realised a yellow button that I was pressing. Next, he was doing the pressing and when I showed him the photo he took himself, he smiled. So whenever I switched the camera toward him I will set a 3s timer so he has time to pose. I'm still cant decide where to put the two plants Xian was telling me of the plant to get for dragon this year. I was supposed to have 万年青 and Law supposed to buy 铜钱草 but his was sold out and I only managed to mine and my two sisters strongly recommended me to get peace lily. Both pf these plants are indoor plant n easy to manage but Mary said peace lily is so shy that when not enuff water, the leave will go to sleep mode, when u water them again, 10 mins later they will be awake n as healthy as before. Isn't that interesting? I also wanted to deco my office desk with some plant as well so I got two mini one. Right now the two little plants were right infront of me, creating a little greenary in my little corner. 

On child care leave so I suggest to go Serangoon Garden to have our long long miss minced meat  Noodles. It used to be at Eunos, my innlaw old place then it move to geylang then they winded up the shop and dunnknow go where. It took up a while to find out they shifted to Serangoon Garden. The queue is still so long, the method of cooking never change and it still taste so yummy. Xian was telling me of the old style bun there, so I bought some to bribg over to her. They have oir favourITE luncheon meat, peanut bun, and the coconut bun. Mary said the duck rice stall beside the bun stall is very nice, must try. So I bought some as lunch for oursleves and Xian.  Look at the number of ducks hanging and there are more coming out.  I dun really find the duck rice that nice, the sauce is kind of salty too me. 

I will never know of this brand till a Sept mummy asked me to try. She sweared how comfortable this pant is going to be. Infact, per pant at the price of USD 25 is not cheap and the buying method is not from any official website. It was like a MLM online and seriously I also dun know where they got the source from. Sometime, I heard people mentioned it was made in Vietnam or China. The pant came with standard size of OS or TC but they have more size for skirt and dresses. What I read and realised was that many people like the print. Seriously some prints I will not wear but many ladies able to wear those print so nicely.   Oops my fat fat Thigh but seriously the pant still look nice on my thigh!

I thought Janelle will not ask me to pack her lunchbox once she is in Secondary but last night she asked if I could pack something for her. She wanted to eat the kimchi that I bought back on Saturday. Luckily I made the meat sauce on weekend so it will be an additional dish for her lunchbox. I made her a sunshine egg, pan fry some mushroom, heatup the sauce, steam the rice using my 小熊 steamer and pack all these into boxes. The long unused thermo lunchbox set can be reused again.  Since I am up early, I prepared a salad of avocado, hard boiled egg, lettuce, tomatoes n cucumber for breakfast. With the left over steam rice, I stir fried the leftover enoki mushroom and pack some kimchi and add a half teaspoon of anchovy seasoning to make kimchi soup rice for lunch. 

Daddy has left for his 2nd days course and Julian has off for his morning Chinese class. So only left me, Janelle and Skyler at home. We had breakfast at MacDonald at Kallang. Usually daddy will drive us to McDonald but today we have to walk over ourselves. We had a good breakfast, Skyler enjoyed his pancake with the sweet syrup and egg. I let him tried the hashbrowb n he wanted more - bad mummy.  See how lazy this baby is? 那么小就有赖床的坏习惯。 While walking back, we dropped by the playground to let him get his day slides. After much playing, it is easier for me to put him to sleep so Janelle has some peace time to clear her homework while I quickly prepare meal for the family.  Kids get restless after a while n I get irritated with Julian for his forgetness all the time. The more I stayed at home, the worse I got so I got the kids to change their clothes, put on their sport shoes to go for a walk nearby. Skyler started to get a bit particular about the shoes ...

It was a Saturday without daddy as he signed up a 2 days course over the weekend.  Some mummies were asking about what was the best class the toddler should attend at this age. I believe music and movement is still the best for them now. I happened to know Janelle past piano teacher is venture out into such business so I got her to organise a trial class for us.  Skyler was on observation mode for the 1st 10 minutes and soon he will walk around and get the instruments from the teacher and also helping to keep the instruments.  As a very gara mummy of 3, I'm like a super mummy with so much strength and determination when I wanted something to be done. I sling Skyler to attend the Music trial class at Katong Point and we walked from Katong point to Parkway NTUC to get some stuffs. I trolley Skyler while shopping and I guessed the boy knew he was only shopping with me so he behave himself in the trolley eating his snack, usually this doesnt really wo...

When the age gives you the alarm, it is time to do annual checkup and maintenance. This is my 1st mammogram test. After speaking to some of my senior citizens I think I should at least take note of my regular checkup. So I booked an appointment with the nearest polyclinic and came for my scan. Seriously many told me it can be painful. Yes, nobody ever squeeze my breast so hard before n I'm.glad one scan ok, no retake required.

His Valentine's gift.  Something he wanted last year but it was so popular during launched and it was out of stock everywhere. Now the price has drop and I managed to order it nearly half price cheaper online. It was a surprised that I managed to get it before 14 Feb.  We had a simple dinner at Nex and every restaurant is running a long queue. We were there early, quickly settled our dinner n we went to search for my present. Since I dun have a pearl necklace, we decided to get this. Nothing expansive.  Matching my pearl earrings. 老气? I think OK. 

We tried a few bingsu and so far Ice Lab is the most delicious so far. Law said the facial expression from Janelle told everything. Yes, the shaved ice was very soft and flavour with plain yogurt and the mango ice cream and mango is really super nice so are the price. Why is the bingsu so expansive? Daddy traveled all the way to Bugis to satisfy his daughter craving for bingsu despite she was still coughing. See how happy my ger was!

So fun to see what we can turn into using these fun apps.  So bo liao so playing with some app to transform myself prettier. It just take a minute!

Every year our family expand. Last year we have Skyler and this year we have Meryl.  我的妈咪也是很有福气的婆婆和奶奶。年到六十也有七个儿孙们了。谢谢母亲这一年来给我们的关爱和支持，让我们知道你从来不会偏心我们那个孩子。我们兄弟姐妹们也会和睦相处。

Finally a date to meet up for our louhei! It was recommended by Jennifer and Poh.  It was such a great fun to dine with the old pals. 

Vegetarian YuSheng. It was very delicious! The mock salmon looks like the real fish but taste like jelly. All the vegetables were so fresh, the whole salad taste better than those we had in the non-vegetarian restaurant. It was so amazing.  Our CNY gathering in 2014.  Our CNY gathering in 2015. We have started to go for vegetarian louhei since 2014. This was taken at Whole Eart Restaurant at Tg Pager. The food are quite good too.

This year the louhei is held at Concorde hotel and we get to go off after the lunch.  Some of the dishes we had during lunch. I find the dishes not bad.  I joined the MJ table and thanks them for allowing me to join them, it was a fun afternoon with alot of laughter going on.  I took the opportunity to go round taking photos with the old team members and my colleagues. I was told my department is one of the largest in the company. We had about 22 tables.  Mr Ow who is not in pink of health as last time. Since I shifted back to HQ I dun really get to see him that often. Today he looks good. Stay healthy Mr Ow. These are the old comrades. We have know each other for 20 years. What so interesting about this year Chinese New Year louhei is that the organising committee not only had the lunch in Hotel, the door gift is better, we also had a photo booth for the staffs to take photos together.
