Glucose blood test

How many blood extraction do you have in your life so far. Did you count? I cannot say I am a brave woman as I never dare to look at the tube of blood they collecting from me. I seem to get poke more then my previous pregnancy. Gynae felt I needed glucose test because baby grew too much over 3 weeks so I was back at TMC after fasting for 9 hours to go for the test. It will took half day for the test. 1st extraction after the fast then I was given a bottle of sweet orange syrup to drink and I have to collect my urine sample 1 hr later plus blood test again then again for the 3 round. Look like I can only leave TMC around noon. 
Must go and pray after this. 

Took my 2nd urine sample and my blood test. Ouch! I was asked how I felt? I do feel different after the orange syrup. I started to feel stone after 30 min of waiting. For the final round I was told not to eat and drink and collect my urine sample an hour later. I wonder will I have anymore urine to collect an hour later. 
An hour passed and I have to collect my urine sample again and my last needle prick. Each time is a different clinic assistant pricking my arm. The lady who did the last prick told me I didn't press my arm hard enough and my blood vein I flooding up and I can also see blue black. The last prick was painful and I was told sternly to press hard this time. Haizzz. Who will get prick so many time after each hour interval? 

Can I still go to pray at beach road later? Hope I don't faint along the way.

Busy and happy Sunday

 It was a busy Sunday with celebration. 1stly we attending Amelia One year old birthday ceclebration.  BIL invited a magician to perform for the kids. The magician brought along a buddy for the kids to pat after the show. We are supposed to come for birthday dinner much earlier because Janelle insert her Korea trip last min and daddy have to change the timing. Luckily we still able to get seat on 23 Jul.  They have an order your pasta counter where they cook the pasta on the spot. Lobster is not really our favourite and it was quite true because the meat was not sweet and a bit tougher than poached prawn. Skyler like the pasta but not the lobster so we share the lobster instead but we only share the half lobster after that none of us wanna waste our tummy space for it.  The dessert table are full of beautiful dessert.  We finally remember to get someone to take a family shot for us. My 1st 10km - Army Half Marathon

I always dream to go for it but I hate running/jogging. I dun have the stamina to do even a 1km run. How to go for 10km? I must be crazy! Yes, 48 now and I dun start having crazy thought and things I will never get to do it. The begining of the run was because a colleague who hardly exercise said he will join so people like me of same category also signed up to support him. Furthermore, he will be walking and not jogging, which is same as me. WALKING. We started late because we waiting for you and me. Starts around 7am, the race for 10km run started at 6.30am Feeling shiok because you only got to walk like a big "boss" in the middle of the road as if you own it at this moment.
