This year Julian will start going to class with Janelle. I have waited long for him to start something and Law has being bugging me on this for very long time. I have being preparing him for the day to come, just like I prepared him for the Act3 lesson. Unfortunately, Charlene is not attending the class so I cant relate anyone to him and trying to get his anticipate on the coming BIG day. Reminding and reminding him that there is no need to fear to attend the class himself and Janelle also help to assure him that she will be just next door and that they are going to the center together. Julian wasnt that co-operative in the beginning and the teacher asked if he was so all the time. I told her if possible, I do not want to attend lesson with him as independency is what I want my kids to have. The teacher suggested that she brot the kids for a break. It is a long weekends for XMas this year, after the celebration last night we didnt know wat to do on Sat. Serena was telling me that T3 was fun and alot of things for the kids. So I suggest to Law we shld head there and just let the kids have fun. Law wanted to go back to have the La Mien for dinner but the queue was super long so I suggested to look for another restaurant to settle our dinner. We ended up in the HK cafe restaurant. I ordered a fried rice and the kids share a portion of soup noodles and of course a cup of lemon tea for Janelle. I have no idea how my girl fell in love with Lemon Tea so much. I love Xmas. It is the 2nd best festival beside CNY. There is no hard and fuss rules during Xmas, it is a celebration of love, good wills and gifts. Lots of laughter and blessing. The kids love it best as they get to recieve many pressies from pple who love them. The adults would love to soak into this wonderful and magical season. Daddies and mummies will have to be the santa claus looking ard for xmas gifts and prepare yummy food. This year the celebration still held at my place as Xian was planning to sell away her unit and need the house for viewing. I was kind of busy this year, and I dun know wat am I busy with. Just couldnt find myself any time to do much Xmas shopping. Therefore, i told my sisters n mum not to bother with my gifts, it will be good enough just for the kids. However, I understand Mary would very much like to recieve gift from us so I just got her one gift. It is very nice of Li Ming to invite us over to her place for a gathering. After so many years we reconnect back together by photography and kids. She has a nice little cosy place and the kids really enjoyed themselves so much. All thanks to her, that I get to try her Sigma 30mm lens and Tamron lens as well. Funny part is, after she uploaded all the photos to the same folder. I have hard time trying to differentiate which photo taken by her, me and Faith. I love the effect of Sigma 30mm, no wonder cousin Keith strongly recommend this len to me.

We just had our Dong Zhi at my mum place. Janelle had told me she wanted to make dumplings last week. I am not dumpling lovers, so i told her that we will be going to PoPo house for the dumplings. It will be more fun to gather and make the dumpling together. PoPo cooked dishes like prawn, fried meatball, Sweet and sour pork, wanton & fishball soup and vegetable for dinner. After the dinner the kids will help PoPo to make the dumplings. We are preparing the dumplings in our traditional way. Coating the cooked dumplings with Soya Bean powder and sugar. Janelle liked it very much but the adults took a few to symbolise that we have spent this year peacefully.

I just got myself a sunglasses, sthing I always wanted to get but cant bear to part my S11 with it. Well, it is time I pamper myself a little. A pat on my back for working hard this year. So this is my 1st xmas pressie to ME. Is there more to come??? Got to see then..

A great thanks to Ethel for opening her place once again for the Xmas party. We kept it small this time and each of the family will bring one or two dishes to contribute to the Xmas feast. On top of xmas celebration, Ethel (or her maid) made an agar agar cake for Serena who birthday falls on Xmas day. So we make Serena to make a wish... She looked like she was doing some praying.... hahaha... Well, at 1st I told the mummies that I just wanna sit ard, relax and chit chat with them and that also meant I wun be going ard taking pictures. However, I decided to grab my Camera along last min. Thanks God that I made the right decision and I got some really nice pictures for the kids. This shot was taken by Janelle. The mummies said she looked so pro on the way she held my DSLR. Julian is always very close to Charlene. He seems to have a special little feeling for the sweet girl and they look so compatible... Venice is always so photogenic and easy to capture. Taking photo for her is really a breeze and most of the time I manage to get very good shot of her.

Xmas is round the corner and there will be alot of parties, food, gathering and gifts. Love this season so much cos the kids have parties only for them and there is family party as well. Of course, pressie and good food. Hmmmm.... The 1st coming party is for the kids and with a bunch of mummies kakis. Looking forward for it.

Julian was singing alot recently especially Xmas songs, guessed he learnt it from school. He also knew how to change the lyrics of the song too. Julian version "You better not shout, you better no cry. you better not shout, I'm telling u why. Santa Claus is coming to Pee.... " I was shocked when I heard that and my cheeky son give me a grin...

Always wanted to sign Julian up for some enrichment classes but I have problem to coordinate Janelle's lesson timing but to be fair to my dear son I think he deserves some exposure. Lucky me as MIL willing to help me to bring Janelle for her Sunday class and that allowed me to bring Julian to join the other July kids for the trial. Thanks to MT, she helped me to register Julian for the Act3 Sunday with Us which is a 2 hrs Speech and Drama classes without parents involvement. This Sunday with Us is about Creative Movement, Serena, Gina and Elin are joining the lesson. I asked Lilian to bring her Charlene along as that will ease Julian separate anxiety very very much. Fortunately, Lilian managed to get a place for the programme and I also did my part to prepare my boy. Even since the Berries trial, we realised Julian did not like to attend lesson on his own. It is about time to renew Janelle's passport. Her is not biometric and we renew her photo once. Since one need at least 6 month of validity, we better submit her application for renewal. So I asked her to take some pictures for the new passports and I have the following. Photo 1 Photo 2 Photo 3 I preferred Photo 1 but her fringe cover one side of her eyebrow n not sure if it will be rejected.... hmm May be I need to retake again.

Poh is our Dec organiser, he planned for a noon skiing at Kallang Leisure Park and dinner at Holland Village. I mistaken the skiing timing and reached Leisure park before 1pm but since the meeting time was at 2 we dropped by KFC for a snack before meeting them. Not alot turn up, most opt for the dinner. I couldnt ski so I asked Law to accoy Janelle instead. Julian was too young for the sport so he will be standing ard to watch jie jie and daddy ski but there is still a fee for accoy visitors. Luckily the lady wavier off Julian entrance fee and only charge $3 for me. Law then paid $14 for himself and $12 for Janelle for 2hrs of skiing. We were all prepared with jackets, gloves and cameras. Janelle picked up a note that left at our door last night. It wrote "We are interested to purchase a unit under #XX - 07 at your block. If you are interested to let go pls contact YYYY YYYY ." Janelle asked me wat was this about. I roughly explained to her and her face expression change immediately. Janelle: Mummy, what is this? Me: Someone wanna buy our house. Janelle looked worried Me: So shall we sell our house since you want to stay in condo. Janelle: No, I like my house. Dun sell it away. I will buy the condo when I'm grow up. Law was playing Uno with Janelle while I took my bathe. A moment later I heard Law reprimary someone which I believed should be Janelle. I should have expected something happened when a game was going on. Law said our girl was throwing a tantrum when she lose the card game. This was not the 1st time but happened over different ocassions and places. She has to understand there is always a losing and winning party. Unfortunately she loses this time round but she just couldnt get out of the losing feeling. I told Law not to give in to her, she must learn to take a role as a loser at some ocassions and in certain part of her life. I told her "If you never lose, you will never win". As the usual Sunday which is pack with Janelle classes. This month is better, for both of us. One of the lesson is still having holiday so Janelle only need to attend the 11am lesson. We were early and the incharge was nice to let Janelle entered to wait for the teacher. We followed, watch Janelle did her revision and that was when Julian wanna try on as well. He refused to leave and I have drag him out and took me quite a while to get his smile back. We strolled in the Cold Storage supermarket while waiting for Janelle. Julian was really stubborn when he wanted something very badly, even chose the counter he wanted me to make the payment. I wanna cook a dish that I spotted in one of my recipe book for the family and one of the ingredient was Maltose but Cold Storage doesnt has them. So I need to cross the street to try getting them at Giant. We settled our lunch at the complex coffee shop. Cannot rbr when was the last gathering but this party was mentioned many times but we just couldnt set a date to it. I also feel it should be my turn to invite the mummies over to our place. I suggested Hari Raya Haji for the gathering, as weekends are still packed with Janelle's classes. (some classes do not have school holiday lor) All must have craved for popiah for very long while so we fixed the day for the popiah party. Initially, we wanted to buy the popiah fillings but realised it cost like $65. When was the last time I brot Janelle for her dental checkup? That was like 2 yrs ago, and I think she really need to visit one. I'm not sure if Julian was ready for it but I guess no harm trying as well. I informed the school that the kids will be absence for school this week. Just find it very troublesome to attend a day of school but bring the full set of blanket and mattress cover. This was my 1st time to HPB and only knew it was near Outram but no idea where was it. I try searching for it last night and only got a rough idea. We exit from the Outram park station and saw a lift going up. I have started my leave on Friday, I get Law to bring Julian to IL place so I can have some quality time with Janelle. Since idling at home I decided to bring Janelle to the Barbie live show at Raffles City. We saw the stage setup at level two and there was a small section of selling barbie and hot wheel so we stayed ard to wait for the show to start. Janelle asking to take a picture with this cute polar bear stuffy. The barbie toy house is just like real house, so details but expansive. Luckily Janelle was not a craze to it else I will be broke. This was the stage for the barbie performance, a parent was asking me if the performance going to start. I thot supposed so but there was no one ard to prepared for the show.
