Family outing - River Safari

Before I forgot about my River Safari tickets I better used it up when we are available. We finally have a free weekends with no lesson to do something more family oriented. Janelle and Law have not visit River Safari before so it is a good chance to bring them. I promised Law that it will only be a half day event and the whole place is sheltered. 

Law was surprised how short the whole River Safari was and it was really all sheltered and he did not have to worry about sunblock, rain or shine. 


The kids are most excited about the ride. At least for Law and Janelle. The kids wanna take up the challenge to take the front side. We realised the Zoo staffs dun really encouraged visitors to take the 1st row, reason that " you may get wet" infact the splash was not really BIG. The kids are very dry after the ride. Only complained was that why the $5, $3 was not for multiple rides.

Huge outdoor fish tank. The fish look like the "Pati" fish we had in Malaysia.

The golden panda is not active that day.

Busy and happy Sunday

 It was a busy Sunday with celebration. 1stly we attending Amelia One year old birthday ceclebration.  BIL invited a magician to perform for the kids. The magician brought along a buddy for the kids to pat after the show. We are supposed to come for birthday dinner much earlier because Janelle insert her Korea trip last min and daddy have to change the timing. Luckily we still able to get seat on 23 Jul.  They have an order your pasta counter where they cook the pasta on the spot. Lobster is not really our favourite and it was quite true because the meat was not sweet and a bit tougher than poached prawn. Skyler like the pasta but not the lobster so we share the lobster instead but we only share the half lobster after that none of us wanna waste our tummy space for it.  The dessert table are full of beautiful dessert.  We finally remember to get someone to take a family shot for us. My 1st 10km - Army Half Marathon

I always dream to go for it but I hate running/jogging. I dun have the stamina to do even a 1km run. How to go for 10km? I must be crazy! Yes, 48 now and I dun start having crazy thought and things I will never get to do it. The begining of the run was because a colleague who hardly exercise said he will join so people like me of same category also signed up to support him. Furthermore, he will be walking and not jogging, which is same as me. WALKING. We started late because we waiting for you and me. Starts around 7am, the race for 10km run started at 6.30am Feeling shiok because you only got to walk like a big "boss" in the middle of the road as if you own it at this moment.
