Happy Birthday Mummy & PoPo

Celebrating mum birthday with a dinner out at Granny's Place then we presented her present at home. It was a big box.
It always exciting to see what underneath the box.
Julian is helping 婆婆 to clear the wrapping with Martin supervising.

Ok..she knew what was it but how did the look like. 

Tata.... a golden bread making for mummy. We do not allow her to get one from Tesco cos I believe I should be able to get her a better made one. I will think smaller and better design model. 
18 functions. From making normal white bread to french, jam, pork floss. 

My mum 1st bread machine assignment was to make pumpkin jam. She was so impressed by my KL aunt recipe that she couldnt wait to try it on although I went to get her bread flour, and 2 packs of prima premix bread recipe to try on. While cooking the jam, we explored how to actually use the bread machine. It took the bread machine a few round to turn the jam thicker. She was very happy with the result and little did I know that she actually brought chicken breast meat to try out chicken floss.

Busy and happy Sunday

 It was a busy Sunday with celebration. 1stly we attending Amelia One year old birthday ceclebration.  BIL invited a magician to perform for the kids. The magician brought along a buddy for the kids to pat after the show. We are supposed to come for birthday dinner much earlier because Janelle insert her Korea trip last min and daddy have to change the timing. Luckily we still able to get seat on 23 Jul.  They have an order your pasta counter where they cook the pasta on the spot. Lobster is not really our favourite and it was quite true because the meat was not sweet and a bit tougher than poached prawn. Skyler like the pasta but not the lobster so we share the lobster instead but we only share the half lobster after that none of us wanna waste our tummy space for it.  The dessert table are full of beautiful dessert.  We finally remember to get someone to take a family shot for us. My 1st 10km - Army Half Marathon

I always dream to go for it but I hate running/jogging. I dun have the stamina to do even a 1km run. How to go for 10km? I must be crazy! Yes, 48 now and I dun start having crazy thought and things I will never get to do it. The begining of the run was because a colleague who hardly exercise said he will join so people like me of same category also signed up to support him. Furthermore, he will be walking and not jogging, which is same as me. WALKING. We started late because we waiting for you and me. Starts around 7am, the race for 10km run started at 6.30am Feeling shiok because you only got to walk like a big "boss" in the middle of the road as if you own it at this moment.
