My very Happy Birthday present

Every year is the same - I dun know what I want for my birthday present. Should I get a watch, a diamond ring, a branded bag or .....
It was only in November that I think may be I should change my oven which is with me for more than 8 years.

Current market best tabletop oven will be Baby Bell or Rowenta. After some studies, Law suggestion that I should go ahead with Rowenta which have more functions. 

On Sat, Law brought me and the kids to a neighbourhood shop at Hougang to get the oven. It was very much cheaper getting at the neighbour stall.

Comparing to my old oven, it is 12L more but Law said it was not much bigger than he though. 

The Rowenta has a steaming, defrost function and it came with this roasting or steaming tray. 

There is a Rowenta recipe book too. 

I did not insist to get the oven but the man I love insisted to get the oven for me. 不愧是我的爱人。

Busy and happy Sunday

 It was a busy Sunday with celebration. 1stly we attending Amelia One year old birthday ceclebration.  BIL invited a magician to perform for the kids. The magician brought along a buddy for the kids to pat after the show. We are supposed to come for birthday dinner much earlier because Janelle insert her Korea trip last min and daddy have to change the timing. Luckily we still able to get seat on 23 Jul.  They have an order your pasta counter where they cook the pasta on the spot. Lobster is not really our favourite and it was quite true because the meat was not sweet and a bit tougher than poached prawn. Skyler like the pasta but not the lobster so we share the lobster instead but we only share the half lobster after that none of us wanna waste our tummy space for it.  The dessert table are full of beautiful dessert.  We finally remember to get someone to take a family shot for us. My 1st 10km - Army Half Marathon

I always dream to go for it but I hate running/jogging. I dun have the stamina to do even a 1km run. How to go for 10km? I must be crazy! Yes, 48 now and I dun start having crazy thought and things I will never get to do it. The begining of the run was because a colleague who hardly exercise said he will join so people like me of same category also signed up to support him. Furthermore, he will be walking and not jogging, which is same as me. WALKING. We started late because we waiting for you and me. Starts around 7am, the race for 10km run started at 6.30am Feeling shiok because you only got to walk like a big "boss" in the middle of the road as if you own it at this moment.
