池菇

After tasted the 池菇 home made by his Msia girlfriend. I decided to make some for the coming CNY too. Little did I know that the Happycall group is very happening with this snack too.

I was lucky to find big and juicy 池菇 in the market today. The vegetable stall uncle is selling at $3 per KG, and decided to get 2kg to try out. Funny part is I keep chosing and couldnt hit 2kg on the scale. This is how much 2kg of 池菇 is. My sister was making it a few days ago and she didnt manage to success in it. She was surprised that I was planning to make some too.

She commented that my batch of 池菇 was really big, however I couldnt make it the night as I didnt have the slicer. Have to go round looking for a slicer. Sister suggested I could start looking one at Daiso which is grabbing up fast by all the Happycall craze to make 池菇.

While I was busy at home cleaning up after Janelle Birthday party, my dearest sister helped me to do some cleaning on the 池菇 end. Now my 池菇 was pretty much cleaner as I wasnt planning to start frying now I asked her to leave it that way.

Busy and happy Sunday

 It was a busy Sunday with celebration. 1stly we attending Amelia One year old birthday ceclebration.  BIL invited a magician to perform for the kids. The magician brought along a buddy for the kids to pat after the show. We are supposed to come for birthday dinner much earlier because Janelle insert her Korea trip last min and daddy have to change the timing. Luckily we still able to get seat on 23 Jul.  They have an order your pasta counter where they cook the pasta on the spot. Lobster is not really our favourite and it was quite true because the meat was not sweet and a bit tougher than poached prawn. Skyler like the pasta but not the lobster so we share the lobster instead but we only share the half lobster after that none of us wanna waste our tummy space for it.  The dessert table are full of beautiful dessert.  We finally remember to get someone to take a family shot for us. My 1st 10km - Army Half Marathon

I always dream to go for it but I hate running/jogging. I dun have the stamina to do even a 1km run. How to go for 10km? I must be crazy! Yes, 48 now and I dun start having crazy thought and things I will never get to do it. The begining of the run was because a colleague who hardly exercise said he will join so people like me of same category also signed up to support him. Furthermore, he will be walking and not jogging, which is same as me. WALKING. We started late because we waiting for you and me. Starts around 7am, the race for 10km run started at 6.30am Feeling shiok because you only got to walk like a big "boss" in the middle of the road as if you own it at this moment.
